All right. I know you've all heard the whole "Chuck Norris Rules" shindig and have at least encountered 1 Chuck Norris joke. You've all heard of Chuck Norris' birthday landing on the 69th day of the year (which is true, by the way) and the rumors of dead ninjas and "Total Fitness"es lying all over the place at his house. Now... is anyone sick of all of this? Norris isn't the only kung-fu kid around here (anyone remember Bruce Lee?)...

You can't stop destiny. It's like asking 13 year old girls to stop liking Justin Bieber. Some things just happen. In this case not as many people have even heard of Bruce Lee, just cause of Chuck Norris. People get outshined all the time. Like Uncharted 2 and MW2.

I'm pretty sure this is dying down on the old internets. The internet was the source of this meme (well, technically it was more likely Conan OBrien's bit), and when it came out that Norris is a very close-minded uber-right-winger who thinks creationism should be taught in schools, most of the net nerds who previously spread such norris jokery promptly stopped. It's much more in vogue now to scoff at Chuck Norris' ridiculous creationism agenda than to put him up on the old legendary pedestal. By the way, chuck norris jokes predate chuck norris jokes, if you know what I mean. It's an aaaage-old form of joke. You talk about a legend who isn't there to dispute or prove or disprove what you're saying, and the legends around him grow to ridiculous extent. Anyone can sit around and make these jokes about anyone, it's quite fun actually. See the "Bill Brasky" sketches from SNL.

It'll die out pretty soon I reckon but as has been said, the jokes will remain albeit with different people as the focus.

Meh, i fust do it "for teh lulz" No but seriously, i don't even know that much about Chuck norris, i don't really care for that whole creationism bruce-lee tigymajagy whatnot, i just do them because its fun, brings me laugh that's all. Why doesn't Bruce Lee et that much attention? Because he did not leave a big an impression as Chuck Norris did in his movies, sure he was a great martial artist, but Norris' scenes in movies left more of an impact sometimes, that's all.
