Quick Question!

Alright, I've been around the Community a lot recently, and one thing I have noticed is amazingly nice looking Trees! I just want to know... What Decoration/Object/Material is being used in levels such as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dos0xoy19M4 See? Right there in the beginning? What is that?? | 2010-05-06 02:20:00 Author: DarkFray Posts: 100 |
Its a girls doll head with various green stickers on it. Check out the newest Creator Spotlight for a more in depth explanation of how. Hope this helps. The very beginning uses the 3-D layer glitch. | 2010-05-06 02:23:00 Author: Phosphorus15 Posts: 463 |
Upside down doll heads glitched into the foreground! Dang sackfedora beat me to it. I have a question, when was it discovered that you could do this with doll heads? | 2010-05-06 02:23:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Wow are you serious? o.O I would have never made that connection Thank you very much! Requesting Mod Delete? | 2010-05-06 02:24:00 Author: DarkFray Posts: 100 |

I believe its possible to sticker anything found in the materials section thing, I can't put my tongue on it. Its the pop-it box with all the story mode items like the tea-cup. You can sticker anything found in that, and since the female doll head is in there, it stickerable. EDIT: Everything in the objects menu is stickerable. | 2010-05-06 02:32:00 Author: Phosphorus15 Posts: 463 |

I wasn't talking about stickers. http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/482/009_1.png What I mean is, when was the first time someone used the doll head as a tree or something? | 2010-05-06 02:39:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
OH! That I can't answer. I guess just plain creative thoughts. | 2010-05-06 02:42:00 Author: Phosphorus15 Posts: 463 |
The first person I recall using it is Kiminski, but when it comes to creativity, how can we know who came with it first! | 2010-05-06 02:52:00 Author: Keldur Posts: 628 |

It was a while back, at least a year ago, in the "Lara Cloth: Tomb Raider" series. If you haven't played these levels, you've GOT to check them out. Probably the best custom stickerwork in all of LittleBigPlanet. I've never seen better. She's got mountains, pacific seas, jungles, caves - all of it looks like nothing else you've seen in the game. Definitely worth a look. | 2010-05-06 07:09:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |
Warlord, are you asking because you want to use it and you want to make sure to give credit for the idea? Don't worry about it. I mean if you use an actual item made by somebody, then you should probably give credit, but you don't need to list credits for every single idea you use: your level description would be nothing but credits. | 2010-05-06 08:06:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |

Excuse me. It appears you've used a lot of words and letters in your post. I'd appreciate it if you cited your sources for these? Thaaaanks. | 2010-05-06 11:38:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

Whilst this isn't as detailed or realistic it still looks pretty cool. Use some dark brown wood with corner edit tool for trunk and branches, then switch to a green sponge like the floral fabric and choose ONE shape, such as a square, or the ellipse. Then, start placing different sizes of this object at the top of the branches so they overlap and merge, or fall into the layers in front or behind. This makes a sort of "cartoony" tree that's sort of true to Media Molecule's style. | 2010-05-06 13:48:00 Author: Holguin86 Posts: 875 |
Excuse me. It appears you've used a lot of words and letters in your post. I'd appreciate it if you cited your sources for these? Thaaaanks. Oh... um... let's see. I think I got the letter 'W' from Sesame Street. 'A' from my kindergarten teacher... um.... | 2010-05-06 19:48:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
Oh... um... let's see. I think I got the letter 'W' from Sesame Street. 'A' from my kindergarten teacher... um.... I think you mean that the alphabet man was having a sale and you managed to buy all the vowels and constants to your hearts delight | 2010-05-06 19:55:00 Author: damaz10 Posts: 771 |
The first time I saw them was from Kiminski. I didn't invent them. You can "win" the tree in my level in a prize bubble on top of the trees to the left of the title area if anyone is interested. | 2010-05-06 20:33:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

Actually I just want to know if I found it first. I never really learned from anybody about the trick, I just looked at the doll head and I thought that it would look great as grass. | 2010-05-06 21:39:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |

Actually I just want to know if I found it first. Does it matter? | 2010-05-08 20:27:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
Does it matter? For the sake of "fame", yes. To everyone else, no. | 2010-05-08 20:53:00 Author: DarkFray Posts: 100 |
Does it matter? No, I guess not... Well that was a waste of time for me to be asking that. | 2010-05-08 22:49:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
