Ideas for my level

My level is a pretty dark swamp level in which you set out on a rescue boat armed with a paint turret to find the lost kid Austin. It's supposed to be a pirate/swamp mixture. Now I need ideas for the part where you rescue Austin and also some puzzle at the dock to get to the boat. Thanks in advance! UPDATE: Mini boss fight with the owner of the boat. OK, maybe a cranky wooden crane that lifts the boat out of one area and down on the other side. To lift the boat you need to load the crane with weights, then use a switch to pull it over. | 2010-05-07 14:01:00 Author: Holguin86 Posts: 875 |
Maybe you could make the player find items before he gets started in the boat. Like have hime find a gas can, a lifepreserver and a motor, after they find those. They could get the boat up and running. And the crane idea tha Holguin suggested would be a nice way to load the boat from the dock to the water. How about while going through the swamp, theres a part where pirahna try to attack you on the boat and you have to avoid them and not die. How about when you return to the boat you find that it's been cannibalized by backwoods hicks and you have to find parts to fix it to get it working again?
