Global Warming at it's worst.
Hey guys I have made a level inspired by my love of going green. It is called 21st Century Meltdown. Give it a play and tell me what you guys think. Please remember to Recycle! The Earth is our home. Our *only* home. Please also tell me what level to leave feedback on, thanks

Hi, TheNerd! I played you level and found it very interesting. Meltdown subject is very important, and you create good level about it. Good work with environments and material. Good story line (as sequence of some new Meltdown examples). Thank you for this level. By the way - right now best player on your level is "oladushki". He or she from Russia as I too. So you have already two Russian players ! I gave you 5 stars for this level! Well Done!

P.S. And if you wish - you can try my "Save Die Reload! psp version" level

I panicked for a second, my new level will also be about pollution, but it's very different from yours. No more panic.

Anyway, this was a short, light-hearted, enjoyable level. Interesting (yet simples) visuals and overall a nice, straightforward gameplay. I liked it!

Yeah, boy I can't imagine how it must feel to make a level and see someone's already published the same type of thing...

I feel like a bad guy.
Although, I'm not, we just happened to share some similar thoughts.

Sorry about that though, B3, but I can't really do anything about it.

Great level.

Not many levels have a moral to them, and you really had me thinking about things while playing, (that's good). Your visuals were lovely, I really like your art style, not only in this level but your other level, Watsitooya and The Not-So-Confusing Cave. I especially liked the recyclable emblem you made which you actually spawn in to start the game. Very nice. You have a style that is recognizable to me now, (also a good thing). The whole level was a lot of fun. And really nice to look at. I haven't got the question right yet to get the bonus, but I plan on playing this more so I will.

Great job on this, you get five stars and a heart, I already have you hearted as creator.

Look forward to seeing more great things from you!!

Thanks for the play Velcro! I hope you try and get the high score, which is fairly simple.

And guys, it is not like they stole your level ideas or did you? Two levels with the same theme isn't all that bad, the more the merrier. But still, you will have competition on which level is more unique. I'll still play similar levels, not to see which is better, but just to have fun playing it. 2010-05-06 09:09:00

Hidy Ho Nerd!

I really do plan on playing this level very soon, I actually downloaded it and was in it, but I am just too tired tonight to play any more. I just wanted to let you know that I will be getting to it ASAP. I really appreciate all of your feedback for me!

Wow! nice looking level!
The visuals are crisp and enthrall the player and the corner editing is very crisp and polished. I think it's excellent for the level to have a meaning, as it is a great way to highlight issues. the only problem is that the level did not highlight all the problems of climate change, and it did feel a bit short. But there were a few elements to this level that made it stand out, as a masterpiece and a call to us, to realise what we're doing to the world and to do something about it know! (Dramatic speech over, starts crying with epicness) OK, that was strange but anyway, it was a great idea for a level and was done beautifully,:star::star::star::star: and a <3!

Hidy Ho Nerd!

Wow, what a great level! I expected it to be very unique due to the theme, but I wasn't expecting a great fun factor as well and the awesome scenery as well!

This level was really outstanding. Even from the very start with the giant recycle symbol. I really enjoyed how you had a little slot that the save point was setting in when you start (and there is a checkpoint like that later on.

Other little touches that stood out for one reason or another were the writing on the signs (that was excellent use of that sticker. From a distance I thought it was somehow tiny writing ) and that save point that would move down when you got near it.

You did a great job with the background decorations as well!

The theme was handled very well as well. It was a bit preachy, but that is what you were going for that, so I'm fine with it.

Overall, this was an outstanding level that really helps you to stand out as an author! Excellent work

Thanks Forgotten! I do plan on making another level about Global Warming, but in a different setting. I do plan on including all major contributors of the climate change, such as fossil fuels and other toxic gasses which we emit everyday. Thanks for the play and the heart!

Darn it, I'll go check this out later on. I'm very sorry some of you could not complete the level. I'll tell you when I get the exact level that the sticker is in. It's the recycling sticker.

Hey Tominater!! The level that you get the sticker is Sand Ahoy by Prince Funubis, you have to get the recycling object through the maze puzzle and into the the hole for the sticker.

It's an amazing level and it really sends a message about what pollution is doing to earth. When I was playing it every time something new happened, I actually stopped to think and thought to myself, that's horrible, I don't want that to happen. So yeah it really sent a message, it had some good platforming and I really liked the design of the level. So keep up the good work with your levels, the good thing is people might actually think twice about what pollution is doing after playing this level. So Congrats :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3.2010-05-09 00:41:00

I'm loading this right now, by the way, this doesn't have to do with the actual level, but I like how you posted in green on the first post, that's genious! The level badge fits perfectly, and I like how you put sackboy in the center of the recycling symbol at the start of the level. It's very well crafted. I like how you hid a few secret point areas. Ahh, I just got to the part with the polar bear, it makes me feel guilty. It's interesting how you pointed out more bad things that would happen due to the melting of the snow. The part with the water rising up was a nice touch, it looked really cool. I just finished, I like how you put the extra details in front of the scoreboard. Overall, this was a great level with a good moral to it. I haven't played a level with a moral ever, I think. Keep up the amazing work.

I rated it :star::star::star::star::star: and gave it a <3.

Wow so I just beat the level and I can not believe that I missed out on that and all that stuff at the end.

Ok so I beat it finally after getting sticker and I have to say it was very unique. One of things I did like was how nice and smooth it flowed. I also liked the statement your level made about the environment(even if the effects you portrayed are a little too extreme). I gave your level 4 stars and a heart.2010-05-10 23:40:00

Hi there, you gave me some feedback so I give some to you

I liked this level, it was nice and polished and looked good. I'm not sure if it will actually make people change their way they treat the enviroment but at least you have a good point in the level.
The challenge at the end was also really clever, made me play the level a second time

But nothing is perfect, even this level had some minor flaws. The text in the beginning shows for a too short time, I could barely read it before it disappeared and I'm a quite fast reader. Also, you said that you have to retry if you "accidentally" fall down, but I managed to climb up no problem... I guess you did that on purpose to fool some lazy players who don't bother to try?
Also, it was kinda short, but I enjoyed it

Thanks for playing the level Napero! Yeah I did make it possible to climb up without having to retry. Sorry if you couldn't read the beginning statements. I'm a fast reader as well, but maybe too fast.

I really like this level because it sends a good message and is pretty entertaining. The gameplay was simple but fun, and the visuals were great. I really liked the big recycle symbol checkpoints, that was a nice touch. I gave the level :star::star::star::star::star:

Also, what's that sticker switch after the scoreboard for?

The sticker switch is for extra score bubbles. Play through the level again, and see how many recycling symbols are hidden in the level. Hint: They're the small ones about Sackboy's Size.
