EDIT: Oh one more thing, if you pay any amount for the HIB, you can get the penumbra collection (all 3 penumbra games) for $5 from the penumbra site: http://www.penumbragame.com/game.php

Wolfire.com are selling 5 Indie games for whatever amount of money you want to buy them for. Now I've only heard of two of them, World of Goo and Aquaria but they're all award winning games and deserve a glance if you're at all interested.

Average amount paid is about $8 at the moment and all the proceeds go directly to the developers and/or charity. You can decide if you want the money to go to charity, the devs or an even split.

Aquaria if you haven't heard of it is an underwater exploration type game, in a sort of metroidvania style but with little combat... at least at the start. It is without a doubt one of, if not the most beautiful game I've ever played and definitely deserves a look.

EDIT: Oh wait I've seen Lugaru before, it's a rabbit combat game... doesn't look all that good TBH.

Penumbra seems to be a first-person dark, horror sort of game with a flashlight.

And GISH seems to be a cool BIG collection of platformers and arcade-style games. Looks quite good.

Anyway though some people on here might be interested. Oh and seriously, have a look at Aquaria... it's just so pretty.

Just bought them for 15... feel a little cheap but it's almost twice the average so I guess I shouldn't feel too bad.2010-05-05 22:17:00

Sure why not... sure paying 1 cent is better than not giving anything at all . It is for charity though so if you can even spare $5... I mean IMO for the number of hours of enjoyment I'll probably get from these games $5 or even $15 doesn't seem all that much.2010-05-06 16:19:00

Actually, the developers of World of Goo had already done a similar "pay what you want" experiment. Many people only paid one cent, but the developer doesn't get anything for sales under 30 cents, so it's basically like not giving anything at all (I don't know if the same is true of this sale, but I would assume so).

Well they say on the site that all proceeds go to the devs and to charity, no middle-man.2010-05-06 17:08:00
