I do! I think I've seen just about every episode, excepting the Viking one.2010-05-08 16:28:00

I like the ones with actual ancient warriors, not the episodes with guns and all that. The show itself is sort of interesting with the tests on the weapons, but its really cheesy and inaccurate.2010-05-08 19:02:00

You mean you actually watch the show for the history? That's silly. I just watch it to have a good time, which it always is. I agree about ancient warriors being more fun than modern ones, though. But it's good to have a healthy mix of the two, otherwise it would get stale.2010-05-09 16:01:00

I don't believe any of their annoying battle outcomes, like spartan vs ninja, lol, but all the tests they do are extremely entertaining. Overall, a fun show.2010-05-09 16:47:00

Yeah, I think the ninja should have beaten the spartan. It was the stupid shield. Without that, the ninja would have owned. Another gripe for me: pirate vs. knight. Lolwhut? How is it even remotely fair to pit a dude with a bunch of guns against a guy with a sword and some armour? And when they did the whole season 1 recap thing to find the deadliest of the winners, they specifically said they were going to split them up based on gunpowder usage. So why was the knight with the pirate to begin with? Also, the pirate used sand. Sand was not one of his weapon choices!2010-05-10 02:44:00

Like everyone else, I'm generally pretty sceptical about the validity of the outcomes this show produces (though in defense of Spartan vs. Ninja, they were determining the deadliest warrior, not deadliest assassin, which kinda throws out a lot of what a ninja has going for himself, but still iffy regardless).
Though personally, I always hope for whichever warrior chaste representative is the most arrogant to be the loser (then again, just about everyone they have to give them stats comes off as arrogant). And on that note, anyone who uses nunchaku outside of a Bruce Lee film in a real combat situation where guns are involved is asking to die.

No i just find the ancient warriors episodes more entertaining. Its annoying when both of the combatant have guns and shoot the dummy in the face and the guy comes up and says "Yep definately a kill shot". Naw really?

I liked the first season, it had the perfect mix of guns with no guns. But the second season started with way more warriors with guns.

Well, we're only a couple weeks into the second season. There'll probably still be a good ammount of warriors without guns.2010-05-13 22:48:00

I'm glad the Spartan always came out on top! I study history and have always been very fascinated by the Spartan City State and their extremely hardcore warrior culture. I truly believe they are the single greatest warriors history has ever produced.2010-05-13 22:54:00

Try putting a spartan up against an Abrams Tank

Once the tank grows legs and sentience, we'll talk.

Then it's just a robot. Then we'd have to say "Try putting a Spartan up against a robot "
