Pray for my father

Archive: 13 posts

My dad just came out of a 3 and a half hour surgery on his arm. I can tell that his was very serious because when i was little i injured my eye and that only took a hour and a half. Anyway, he's out now but he just seems so frail and fragile and he's still plugged in drugs with tubes. Please pray for him to get better.2010-05-05 00:04:00

My dad was playing keeper in soccer and he dove for a ball and he landed on the ground with his arm stretched out and ripped out a legamit connecting a muscle to his shoulder.2010-05-05 00:14:00

Sorry to hear this mate. Try to stay positive for you and your dad and hopefully he'll soon be feeling much better. You both have my best wishes.

EDIT: Just saw your new post which came up at the same time as mine and although I'm no doctor I'm pretty sure that's not life threatening at all and he'll be as good as new in no time at all. He just needs a fair bit of rest and recuperation. Get well soon tell him.

All the best to your Dad. I am sure he will be fine, but it will take quite a bit of time to heal. Once he comes home maybe he can watch you play LBP. Might bring him a smile or two.

Keeping you both in my thoughts.

I'll pray for your father. I'll also pray for you. I know this is hard for you to see him like this. I'm sure he'll be fine. It's so nice of you to ask for prayer for him.

Ah, looks like the original post #5 was deleted.

I agree with mistervista. I'm sorry to hear about this, I really hope your dad is OK, and maybe I'm asking this question out of selfish, inconsiderate curiosity, and I apologize if you find this offensive, but is this condition life-threatening?

Regardless, you and your father have my condolences. I wish you guys the best.

Ouch. I've never had "real" surgury, but this sounds painful. I'm sure he'll be better in no time, though! Prayer's are on him!2010-05-07 01:39:00

Probably not, but I am sure it scared him to see his Dad that way and can more than understand. I am sure he will make a great recovery, but it will take quite a bit of time.

@TheCountessZ
Yes he is but I don't think that this is the right thread to discuss my opinion.

...lol.. true, but you did already did you not? I think we just should wish the boy's Dad well and leave all opinions aside.

..and I hope he does get better soon.
