So, even though the release was pushed back till Oct., Qj had this to report on the subject of a beta (http://www.qj.net/E3-2008-LittleBigPlanet-beta-this-September/pg/49/aid/122325). Can't wait to get your hands on the PlayStation 3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet? Well, we've got news for you: while the game is slated to launch in October, if you're lucky, you might be able to play the game by as early as September this year. Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans, in an interview with website WhatIfGaming, confirmed that the beta will be taking place in September. He added that this will be a public Beta testing, although it will be "limited at the same time".

Gia has been saying this for a while, and I think its funny how its released in october but you might be able to play it "as early as September"... One month or less earlier, lol! Anyways its good news to have it confirmed. I hope I get on the public beta... Basically, hope its first come first served in the PSN store and not random playstation forum users..

I'm hoping its for Qore subscribers, because I am one Unlikely because betas must reach out around the globe and to all (target) ages and stuff. I think Qore is USA only... It could be that subscribers have priority or a guaranteed placement or something, but it wount be exclusive to them man i'd love to get into this beta; any info on how? They may go for the MGO beta way, and just put a download on the PSN and remove it once they have reached capacity. I think that's a good way. They could also be choosing Official Playstation forum users at random, or you may have to sign up through an official website. Don't really know for sure. Lets wait and see

LBP will run through the psn.Plus the only reason why it was taken off was that it was supposed to be europe only but they had figured out about the multi-account thing and took it off the store.

Yeah its Konami servers, but thats got nothing to do with it. Also, they didn't take it off because americans were using it they took it off because of huge traffic... americans or not. There's plenty of people in Europe who didn't get to beta test cause they were too late downloading. LBP beta could still work this way
