Halo LBPOleroc
A tribute to Halo in LBP style
In this level I wanted to capture the Beach map from the first Halo game, where the Chief enters the Forerunner building on the beach. I also wanted to add some fun LBP flair. I also followed Bungie's theme of hiding skulls in the level to unlock prizes. I hid them pretty well, and if you ace the level I gave clues to the locations of the skulls. I worked very hard on it, so enjoy. And most importantly, tell me what you liked and how to make it better.

That is not the type of feedback I am looking for. Leave your online behavior opinions to yourself and focus on constructive design aspects of the levels2010-05-05 18:17:00

It's eh...

Put double life checkpoints in for the challenging places as four lives is not enough for the traps you have made. I didn't get to finish and now I don't find it surpising that only 8 out of 45 have. It's way to hard.

The level is really empty and needs more detial. I didn't really get invovled into the level with the lack of different settings to match different areas. The camera angles don't help and tend to not add to the cinematics. Some zoom out so much you can see outside which deminishes the effect of you being in a building. I would also go through with the corner editing tool because there are plenty of weird vertexs. The elevator was really confusing and it took me almost a minute to get out of it. Some of the guns enemies use keep firing after you kill them.

Overall, its blandness, its reliance on gunplay platforming as it's only platforming, and the flaws of said platforming and lack of detail gets it a :star::star: out of :star::star::star::star::star:

Also, H4H does kill sackpeople.

Please feel free to play and leave feedback for:

So i finally played your level and it was ok. The scenery and gameplay were pretty bad but the vehicles and aliens were decent. Not Halo aproved though, if your basing it of of the first, then your are way off.2010-05-06 03:26:00

Hi Oleroc

Played your game two player, and it was ok. I was impressed with your halo buggy, (Though it got stuck right at the begining and so had to restart. Had a little trouble with the lift, but only mentioned it because Zodiax did. I didn't find it hard (Though having two players and double the paintballs helps) and I though all in in it was ok. I liked your space ship scene (though I got stuck at the front and died, my mate carried on) And the mechs/baddies were pretty cool, but as mentioned, they continue to fire some times when killed, and others fell over and jusy shot in the air.

I'd advise, if you have any thermo left to neaten up some of the visuals, a little bland in places, and take on baord every thing Zodiax kindly mentioned ( and beat me to it)

Best of luck!

If you would like to F4F my level Spider mech tank walker I'd appreciate it!
