Hey Ali!
This is your best level yet!
The scenery is absolutely astonishing and the visuals are the best i've seen on the psp! There is a bit more gameplay here, which makes it more fun and also more challenging than the first one. I especially liked when the vampire came through each door and you had to time when you walked through. The story made for a new type of level, where you act out a story rather then just polaying through a level in a game. I loved the ending where you have to choose which way to go, it gave me an idea that I would never do because it would take for ever, but it would be quite cool. It would be like those 'choose your path' or 'decide your destiny' books, in which you choose to go to a different page to follow the story. It could be like that, except you go up or down into the next room.
Anyway, on the subject of your level, I thought it was literally astounding, even though there were less effects than 1. It did feel a bit short but only now after I've already played through it.
:star::star::star::star::star: and a Heart for the scenery!

If you feel like it's too short, you could make a boss level. After you've made the boss, there'll be thermo left to add a proper ending. Off to play this now!2010-05-03 18:27:00

I wanted to make a boss but i had real difficulty with it >.<

@The Forgotten: Thanks alot! I just love visuals and i think im improving the more i practice XD
ha ha i thought of that too! but yea ur right, it would take too long

On my next level ill concentrate on making it lengthier

Anyways anyone have any other issues? or got any suggestions?

Hi, ali985! You did one more great level! WOW! I say many very beautiful places and must say that you did great job with corner tool. There are so many nice details so i send a lot of time just watch on it. All looks amazing. You very smart use camera angles so there are many good views. And of course you create one more part of very interesting story. I played all of this with big interest. Thanks you for your hard work and for this a little scary but very cool adventure! And of course I gave you 5 stars and heart for this level! Well Done!2010-05-04 12:56:00

Hey Alistair,

I loved how you placed the start of this level. It's like I was just finished walking out of the woods from the least level. Your visuals and scenery are getting cooler and cooler every level. I also liked how you made that creepy feeling of making the gas seep through the floors. But, in some parts I jumped and when I hit the floor I hit the gas and and lost bubbles! I love those bubbles. It was okay though, it happened rarely. It was a good idea to use the same obstacles of the vampire attacks from the first level. The endings were a bit boring, but they were pretty much okay.

After that Vampire Slaying, I gave your level 5 stars and a heart.

So i finished your level and I have to say I did not nearly enjoy it as much as the first. This one to me just felt really short and a little rushed. The one big issue I had was how long it was. It felt like it was over before it even started getting good. The other thing that I had an issue was how you got the effect. in some areas I actually died by running on the floor because it was to close to the toxic smoke. The other main issue I had was the choice you gave people. I just found it stupid that there was no cutscene or anything for the second one. I also found the battle with the vampire a little underwhelming. This is not to say that your level is bad by any means just that I did not enjoy it as much as the first. I gave it 4 stars.2010-05-10 23:50:00

thanks for being honest tominater!
and i 100% agree with you. The end was rushed. My corrupt data played a part in this because i was scared i wouldnt be able to publish it. I had planned the ending to be in fps style(hence the crossbow) but i had trouble w/ that. I guess in the end I got sick of my own level(my weakness) and just wanted it over and done with.

However since i will be working co-op from now on my endings will hopefully impress!

Thanks alot

Hey ali,

Congratulations on another Spotlight! Like the prequel to this level, I absolutely love the storytelling style. I have never experienced that type of narration until now, and it is really effective in conveying the story without arresting gameplay, and for that reason, suspense builds up naturally.

The environment you created was spot on; you always seem to choose the right materials to create the atmosphere your stories demand. I thought the fangs were once again genius, and the chests containing point bubbles were also a nice touch. Finally, I loved how you could choose an ending. You bet I played it more than once to see all the possibilities!
