I want to change my lbpcentral name to my PSNID to make it simple. Do I have to make a new account? Because I will. I'll just repost my levels. Do I have to cancel THIS account first? If so, how? Will it allow me to make a new account with the same PSNID as THIS account?

I think YEAH_NAH made a spelling error (YEAR_NAH) and now it's changed, so there should be no problem. Give him a buzz.

Give it a try, but I doubt he will. When we had EXP before it went away for a bit, being able to change your name was a feature you could buy. CC only changed YEAH_NAH's name because he made a spelling mistake. If it's simply you wanting to change your name because you don't like it, you'll have to wait for EXP to come back (Which by the way, is coming extremely soon). But, give it a try, I guess, I might be wrong.
