Can you help her?" -------------------------- I originally had a level called "Return to the Gardens", it was a good level but it lacked shine and decent game play. I tried redesigning the level before, but I would always make it wrong in some way, I've finally got something good made out of it. This level looks great, and the game play is a lot better than that of the original level. I hope that this level will seem like a nostalgic level to everyone, I tried designing it by basing it off of the Fairytale concept art, and story levels combined. Please tell me of any problems, I would like your opinions and advice! -------------------------- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A90H5Cqoq9I Thanks to GreyMRP (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?6746-GreyMRP) for the video! -------------------------- http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn65/warlord_evil/Sprolling_Background.png The level images were edited to look better, but then again, in-game photos take out some details. | 2010-04-30 22:45:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |

Hey warlord! As you know this level is really good, and the visuals are brilliant. Even though I played this level lots of times it still doesn't get boring. I love the ending, that was very cool. Although sometimes the zipline got abit stuck, but apart from that it's a brilliant level. Thanks for finishing it. | 2010-05-01 10:19:00 Author: AgentBanana Posts: 511 |
This looks very good. I'm going to give it a look | 2010-05-01 14:33:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |
This is quite brilliant. I loved every single gameplay piece, every detail of the visuals. Everything in this level made me smile, and I had one little problem with it. Whatever colour correction you chose took away from the cuteness and fuzziness of it all. Just personal preference. 5 stars hearted, tagged brilliant and decided to eat a muffin to celebrate! | 2010-05-01 15:33:00 Author: KQuinn94Z Posts: 1758 |

The color correction is that colorful one, I just had the darkness up a bit, I already tweaked it just a little, so It's a little brighter and more cheerful. | 2010-05-01 15:57:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |

I loved the level! It really made my cousin mad though, he kept dying at the beginning. lol I hearted the level, and gave it 5 stars. | 2010-05-02 06:55:00 Author: GreatWhite000 Posts: 673 |
Great level. It was the fantastic title that attracted me. Smooth and fun gameplay. Very good visuals and lighting. I especially like the parts in and around the big tree. Good use of the layer glitch. (I was trying to get in the 'foreground' right at the beginning ) I also got stuck twice on the zipline. But that's all the criticism I can think of. Cool stuff. Are you thinking of doning a sequel? | 2010-05-02 08:00:00 Author: pickled-punk Posts: 598 |
Amazing level. Some of the best visuals I've seen. I played your other version (the one before it got revamped) and wow, what a huge difference. Amazing. 5 stars and a heart. | 2010-05-03 04:47:00 Author: AbstractSam Posts: 332 |

Depending on what happens in the future, I might do a sequel. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=15974&d=1272834576 About that zipline, everyone says they're having problems with it, however I'm not sure how to fix it, anyone have suggestions? By the way, thanks for nice comments everyone! http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/481/110_1.gif | 2010-05-03 04:59:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
I played it yesterday and it was tremendous! Pros: -Good looking -Inspired me -was an unique experience playing through -I like The Gardens style Cons: -Too short -doesn't have any sequel... lol just kidding Your level is awesome :star::star::star::star::star: and a lovely heart | 2010-05-03 04:59:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |

If you notice I made a lot of curly vines and I put small details into everything, which simply consumed the shapes thermometer. I was going to make it into two levels, but it seemed pointless as the only area to be added was the vine forest. (It was going to be a whole new section of gameplay.) | 2010-05-03 05:04:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Beautiful and fun. only ONE thing. You know inside the tree when you have to put the crates in the basket to weigh it down? When you complete it a platform moves down so you can get through, this gets in the way. Just change it to dissolve and make it dissolve when you weigh down the basket instead. Loved the ending and everything else. Thanks for the amazing level | 2010-05-03 10:36:00 Author: Unknown User |
Yeah, I know its short because it's too awesome for the thermo... he can be so jealous... You could recycle this vine forest into another completely different, so we still could play it I'm just saying | 2010-05-03 16:05:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
I can't tell you how amazing this level is. I mean, seriously, that's one of the best levels I've ever played. And I've played ALOT of levels. Playing it reminded me so much of that first ever GDC 07 conference demo. Congratulations, sir, you are a winner. | 2010-05-03 20:11:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |

You could recycle this vine forest into another completely different, so we still could play it I'm just saying Well, there isn't really a vine forest there, that's just what would be there if I had the space! The only exception was those vines in the background, the vine forest was gonna have tons of those in the background like a thick jungle. Beautiful and fun. only ONE thing. You know inside the tree when you have to put the crates in the basket to weigh it down? When you complete it a platform moves down so you can get through, this gets in the way. Thanks for the amazing level I think I'll just make it move faster, the game just decided to make the lift at that spot...if it moves faster then it shouldn't stop. | 2010-05-03 21:41:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Update! I fixed that zipline and removed those giant blocks that pushed it and replaced them with rockets! | 2010-05-04 23:49:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
I played this level a few days a go and loved it. Great visuals - a beautifully heightened version of the Gardens with everything raised slightly in intensity - just gorgeous. Great gameplay too. Entertaining and fun to play. Can't wait to try it again with the new rocket powered zipline! Awesome job! :star::star::star::star::star: and <3 | 2010-05-05 00:07:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |

Update! Thanks to GreyMRP (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?6746-GreyMRP), the level is now recorded! You can see the video in the first post! | 2010-05-05 21:49:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
This is a really fun level, it was pretty, and used the 3D layer glitch very well. I liked your material choice, and the level reminded me of The Gardens from Story Mode. This is a great revamp. I luckily didn't encounter any problems in the level. The overall look of the level had a nice tuch to it, it kept my eyes glued to the TV screen. Overal, this was an all around amazing level. Keep up the great work. I rated it :star::star::star::star::star:. | 2010-05-15 21:26:00 Author: X-FROGBOY-X Posts: 1800 |
You got rid of the shunty things that shove the zipline D: Seriously, they worked ALOT better than the mini rockets, and the zipline looks kinda ugly with the rockets on it. Also, the door in the tree that moves down when you weigh down the basket goes down a bit too far, I'd do this instead: http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/1117/doors.png Also, purely out of asthetic, I'd use a tethered jetpack instead of a tetherless one. All the powerup removes clumped in that one place don't look that nice. | 2010-05-15 22:00:00 Author: Unknown User |

All the powerup removes clumped in that one place don't look that nice. Sorry about the zipline, it's really hard to make it work well (whilst keeping everything at a fast pace). When you say door, I guess you mean the lift? I suppose it is really pointless to have a lift, since the player has a jetpack...and your right, the power-up removers don't look right, and still, they sometimes don't work. (It already is a tethered jetpack by the way, which gives me another reason to remove the power-up removers.) I'll update my level soon. | 2010-05-16 00:41:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |

I don't know how to say this but lol jk Level is still good. Will there be a sequel? | 2010-05-16 02:16:00 Author: GreatWhite000 Posts: 673 |
I don't know how to say this but lol jk Level is still good. Will there be a sequel? There may be a sequel, it relies on what happens with things like LBP2. | 2010-05-16 03:04:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Great level. It is like the Gardens levels from story mode except in a different twist and new set of gameplay. The jetpack part is fun and the swinging obstacle is a blast. The 3D glitch worked out nicely too. Congrats on being spotlighted and I see how did it get there. | 2010-05-18 01:53:00 Author: JustinArt Posts: 1314 |
Update! This level now has the ability to let you select the difficulty you play in. (Through emitting different checkpoints.) | 2010-05-20 23:10:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
