| I just got a code in my e-mail that gave me a cap with a star on it in LBP! Its basically a black baseball cap with the star on it, but still. Pretty cool! To get it, you need to have bought the star shirt. | I got a pic up in the NEws and Media section. Just merged these into a single thread. I must say, it's very kind of Sony to compensate those who paid for the t-shirt when others got it for free, as they could've just as easily sat back and ignored it. Interestingly, Sony's Senior Community Development Manager previously said (http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/t5/General-Discussion/The-Star-on-the-rare-PSP-week-1-shirt/m-p/205161#M109973)... Thanks for the comments above, here's a little more information on what's going on. The rare shirt was accidentally released for free on the Hong Kong store only, all other stores were double checked in the last 12 hours. Hong Kong will be setting their price correctly, if they have not done so already, as soon as possible. As has been mentioned above this raises an issue with regard to the rarity of this item if an entire region has got it for free, and at present I don't have a concrete answer on that front, but here are the likely considerations : a free costume released in Asia (excluding Japan) in a normal week will usually be downloaded around 1000 times whereas in North America or Europe this number would be hundreds of times as many, so there is the possibility that despite this error the effect will be minor. That said, the only justification for the higher price of this content is its rarity and if this incident has caused the rarity to be diminished it will be considered unacceptable both by you and us and something will be done about it. For now however, please continue to see this shirt as rare - whether you'd decided to get hold of it or not, we will ensure that once the dust settles and we can see what impact this has had we'll ensure that rare means rare by whatever means are needed. | I did send a tweet to MM asking but no direct reply. They did; however, tweet about having your notifications on shortly after. I'm not going to hold my breath for it. It is something nice MM has done and wasn't even apart of the deal when we purchased the T-Shirt. So even if we don't get it, we'll know for next time and have our notification on! May suck we missed out on it, but that was really cool of MM. It is kind of a wonky system though. | if you bought the rare star t-shirt they sold for like 5.99 at the launch of lbp for psp you should get one. that is assuming you have enabled getting emails from 3rd parties on your account info. Everyone who is owed the cap will receive it. At present only the North American emails have been sent and as this thread indicates not everyone has received their mails yet, so please be patient as these issues are sorted out. ...so please try to refrain from posting "I didn't get an email yet" messages, as there's nothing that anyone here can do about it. In the meantime, make sure you've enabled the receipt of emails from Sony in your account preferences. Here's a quote from a post on LBW (http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/t5/General-Discussion/Rare-LittleBigPlanet-PSP-Launch-Cap-PS3-DLC-Catalogue-Entry/td-p/247295)... Changing Your Notification Preferences Just follow these steps to setup your Notification Preferences to allow Sony and Media Molecule to contact you: Log into the PSN network. Under "Playstation Network", click on "Account Management". Click on "Account Information". Scroll down and select "Notification Preferences". On the following screen, make sure that you have both boxes ticked/checked. (This page also reminds you what email address is associated with your PSN.) Click on "Confirm". Update completed! So just click "Ok". If however during Step 5, you discover that your PSN is currently associated with an old email address that perhaps you have no access to or would just like to update to a more current email address, then just follow the steps below. Changing Your PSN Account's Email Address Log into the PSN network. Under "Playstation Network", click on "Account Management". Click on "Account Information". Last official word on the subject was from Sam_Protagonist, three days ago, in this post (http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/t5/General-Discussion/Stil-no-cap/m-p/249450/highlight/true#M134595) on LittleBigWorkshop... Everyone who is owed a Star Cap will receive one, however until Europe has informed their players how to claim the cap we won't start the "clean up" process of making sure that people who have been missed are sorted out. Once all the emails have been sent we'll look after the people who didn't receive the email. I realise this is going to be frustrating for those who have fallen through the cracks somehow, however you will definitely receive your cap in due course. ...so, to summarize, those in the North American region, who have yet to receive an email, will not hear anything until after the European emails have been sent out, so it would be helpful to hear from anyone in Europe who has received an email already. Until then, you'll just have to be patient. I shall also re-iterate the following quote about enabling the receipt of emails from Sony, from a post on LBW (http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/t5/General-Discussion/Rare-LittleBigPlanet-PSP-Launch-Cap-PS3-DLC-Catalogue-Entry/td-p/247295)...
