CyberFox Trilogy Parts II and III

CyberFox Trilogy Parts II and IIIHolguin86
This is the conclusion to my CyberFox trilogy - there are two levels in this thread as one of them is a boss and I don't think it deserves a thread on its own.
So - you're back again, fighting through CyberFox's main base. But this time, it's based on infiltration rather than paintinator-toting mayhem.

Bounce up to TWICE as high on cool anti-grav platforms ...

Skip through dangerous traps ...

Slide down slippery shafts ...

... and balance on dangerous conveyors!

Then, get your sacky self over to the next level (as there wasn't enough thermo to fit it in ) and defeat CyberFox once and for all!

Hope you enjoy - I'll do as many F4F's as possible (I have exams coming up), but plays, comments and feedback are much appreciated. Enjoy!

These are great levels, with some incredibly fun and innovative platforming elements, very clean and crisp visuals and an awesome boss battle! My favorite part is probably the 'slippery shaft' in the 2nd last pic, very fun! Once again, great job 2010-04-29 20:42:00

Lol, couldn't think of any other name for it. Anyone got any ideas? Don't think it's the best name for it, really.2010-04-29 21:10:00

HARD!!! These levels are for the hardcore only! I guess I'M hardcore, because I beat 'em!

Anyway, I don't really have any gripes about these two levels at all! They're a little too hard, but oh well. That's the nature of these levels. It can be done. Thank you so much for infinite checkpoints, though!

With the boss I had a second player to use as a human sheild from the plasma (LOL) so it was a little easier for me. I got sixth place on the boss level!!! Yay!

Both levels got 5 stars and I hearted the boss level.

You done an amazing job on the "Cyberfox" level series. It is filled with platforming ideas, insane obstacles and an interesting architectural design. I also see improvements in level series.

If you like, play my levels and give me feedbacks.

While Each level was short, I considered both levels to be 'Part Two'. So judging them as a whole, this level is pretty darn brilliant!
I loved the more clean visuals this time round than what was still good, but more hectic last time. The cleaner worked a hell of a lot better.
This level was very solid on the gameplay front. In fact it was very very fun throughout. The boss was unique but familiar enough that I was soon able to get into a rhythm. Nice logic skills in it too.

I'd like to see an entire race esque level using your jump pads, as I thinking with a theme like this around it, you could come up with some pretty good ideas to match. All those lego, boring looking anti gravity levels don't do the things any justice, and I thought that section did. Do an entire race version and I'd play it 20 times easily.

overall, I gave 5 stars and hearted both. Great job holguin!

This was an interesting level to play. It had cool visuals and very, very nice gameplay, but what made it so interesting it had a theme and a setting very similiar to my old "Red Eagle 1: The Hero" Level. Obviously, your level had much better visuals, but hey, let's not forget this one is more than a year newer! Gameplay matched in that this one had a wide variety of good sections, which were short but fun. I really can't compare them more because I made the other one, but I think in a street poll yours would win. The anti-grav platform race was one of my favourite sections. I liked the boss really much in part III, too. Yiu kept it interesting right till the end. Good job!

As or F4F, would you like to play either of my Red Eagle levels? Part 2 is longer and more exploration-oriented and has a wider variety of obstacles (Jumping, shooting, puzzlerizing) but it's long, so I understand if you play part 1 instead. The story in part 1 is pretty minimal, so It's not required to play pt.2.

About these levels:
Bad:
-Pretty hard.
Good:
+Visual aspects were veeeeeeery nice. I liked how you used steel material from The Incredibles DLC.
+Gameplay was fun and different. It was also very challenging all the way and level really needs the player to be focused.
+Characters: Both of characters had a nice 'two wheels' style.
+Hi' jump glitch platforms were very good.
+Audio: The sound objects and music were good. Expecially at the Hi' jump platforms.
Critic: Five beatiful stars and heart. Keep up the good work.
Then to the boss:
Bad:
-Very challenging
-You could have put few signs at the boss after ''3 or was it 4 evil minions'' were killed. It took me time to realize how to damage it.
Good:
+Simple
+Fun
+Beautiful
+Last scene where boss rides into gassy pit
Critic: Four stars and a heart. I have never liked bosses in levels and I'm very hard on them but this was actually better than OK.

This is a really cool level, the visuals and gameplay were both very cleancut and innovative, you used brushed steel in a great way. The jumping platforms were neat, and I liked the plasma-ball shooting turrets. The boss battle was fun, and it was challenging. Overall, this is a really brilliant level, keep up the great work.

I rated it :star::star::star::star::star: and hearted both.

Just now played part 2 after playing the boss several days ago. Part 2 was just great. I haven't felt so much like I was playing the bunker since I played the bunker. Nicely done! You really made my palms sweat!

The only problem I had with the boss was that when one of the minions would fall on me, I would be trapped underneath it. It was kind of funny, but I had to pop to get out. It would be awesome if you could somehow kill it from the underside, by maybe pushing it over the edge or something.

5 stars for both of them.

Aced part III!

Part I was pretty good. Part II was excellent, and I freakin' LOVED part III. It's not very often I enjoy a community level enough to put the effort into acing it. This was one of the few.

Hi, I played the level. I found them awesome. 5 stars both, and hearted the second part. Little bit more into detail:

GOOD:
- the gameplay is awesome. Original, clean, funny, not easy, but not too hard.
- the visual aspect is perfect. I think these levels have nothing to envy in the visual aspect to the original Mm levels

THINGS YOU COULD CONSIDER
- I found the levels rather short. Did you fill the thermometer?
- I found the quality of the boss below the rest of the series. It is not too original. I mean is the typical boss of shotting as much paint as you can meanwhile you avoid to get killed by a plasma ball... don't know I just didn't find it as good as the second part BTW, the part when mini tanks fall is nice, but I got trapped inside one of them, and had to pop to get out. You could fix that.

I don't know if you have tried my boss, it's a triangular tank. If not, could you please take a look and let me know your opinion. Of course, is not as good as yours
