Levels in progress
Archive: 23 posts
Seeing as I hav'nt released a level in a while, I thought I'd post these works in progress, three in total, that I'm working on Holy Clucking Cowbells http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto-8.jpg http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_1-6.jpg http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_2-6.jpg http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_3-5.jpg This should be ready in a week. It was supposed to be for the little big workshop competition but I'm going miss the deadline (again )! Mars Attacks 5: Surface Warfare http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_4-4.jpg http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_5-3.jpg http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_7-3.jpg The lighting has'nt captured properly and things move quickly so its hard to get photos of the best areas. Theres not much gameplay in this, its more of a cutscene, so I'm waiting until 6 is ready before this one is published. Mars Attacks 6: Veni Vidi Vici http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_8-3.jpg http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_10-3.jpg I'm quite a way off finishing this, and again, its hard to get pictures cause everything is moving and happening so quickly, should be a couple more weeks before this is ready. | 2010-04-29 15:28:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

All of them look awesome! The first one seems like it'll be hilarious! | 2010-04-29 16:29:00 Author: GreyMRP Posts: 588 |
Those look great! Personally, I've always thought that you should do a series that takes place in a canyons/desert setting. I think your canyon From Siberia With Love level was the best one. But I think one canyon level will do! | 2010-04-29 22:31:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |
All of them look awesome! The first one seems like it'll be hilarious! Some of the stuff is a little close to home . The wife was laughing when i was playtesting it a couple if days ago, so that's a good sign Those look great! Also, you've really stepped up your visuals quite a bit since your first levels. I used to like your visuals, but now I absolutely admire them. Great job once again! | 2010-04-30 00:43:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |

Cheers, I was actually thinking of doing my earlier levels again with everything I've earned. Once these levels are finished I think I'll try a one and see how it turns out. Wow, this stuff looks awesome. I like the first one the best, the font you used looks cool. Cheers, the font is off a level I found, it wasnt created by me I've nearly got it done now, only another couple of hours of work to finish, but I'm having trouble getting a certain part working in multiplayer | 2010-05-02 16:23:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

"Holy Clucking Cowbells' - 5 stars for the title! Looks great too, looking forward to it. Cheers, I was actually thinking of doing my earlier levels again with everything I've earned. Once these levels are finished I think I'll try a one and see how it turns out. I'm doing exactly that with one, and i tells ya, my logic and efficiency with the thermo a year ago is SHOCKING to see. I saved a bar of thermo just by taking off 10 layers of stickering in some parts. Blue matter and LED's just whacked into the shapes, hidden lumps of god knows what, emitters on full blast. Its comedy. : ) | 2010-05-02 19:59:00 Author: julesyjules Posts: 1156 |

It amused me lots though. It's good to see how far we have all come! | 2010-05-02 20:08:00 Author: jackofcourse Posts: 1494 |

Its comedy. : ) I saw someone else re-creating a classic series of levels , and it made a huge difference, so its time for Siberia to be updated I think, plus I'm running out of space on my moon so need to create something. My logic was shocking back then, and I drew things free hand without using the corner editor so it will be a vertice nightmare. I think I can give it a lot more polish than I could then to. Don't tell me your reworking the early star wars levels, you must be sick of them by now jules Coooooooool. =) I'm still waiting for Ama Toor, hurry up You can work on 3 things at once? Talk about multitasking, and they all look amazing! Theres three on the go yeah, but I only seem to concentrate on one until I get stuck and cant think of ideas I went into Flaming Timberland 2 the other day and was laughing for about 10 minutes at the perm switch I used. It's just so dumb, I mean like, embarrassingly so. It amused me lots though. It's good to see how far we have all come! I know what you mean, I had an area in Siberia that showed the workings, people have taken pics, you can see them on the level, and its shocking The level is out and done, Holy Clucking Cowbells (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=26242-Holy-Clucking-Cowbells&p=455706#post455706) I'll keep this thread updated with the Mars levels now they have my full attention | 2010-05-03 00:57:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |

Don't tell me your reworking the early star wars levels, you must be sick of them by now jules Heh, just the one, but it's only a new lick of paint and some minimal re-design just to bring it more in line with the rest. I'm kinda putting off getting stuck into the final one, haven't got the ideas yet, so i was fiddling about with the layer glitch in a few sections on the Death Star, and well, you know what it's like once you get started, lol. | 2010-05-03 01:56:00 Author: julesyjules Posts: 1156 |

It's good to see how far we have all come! Yeah. You mean a hand-drawn about 4x4 BIG grid blocks large wooden basket with dissolve drawn to separate the two ends from each other, with a OCTANGLE key that drops in? My first level i used logic in had that | 2010-05-04 15:33:00 Author: Arradi Posts: 183 |
If I tried to make 3 fantastically awesome levels at the same time, I'm pretty sure I would explode! | 2010-05-04 17:05:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_10-3.jpg any chance I can see this on a bigger scale? As my imagination is running when seeying this, it looks like some wicked blood moon on bg with all kinds of spooky flowers on it. | 2010-05-04 17:27:00 Author: Luos_83 Posts: 2136 |
you know what it's like once you get started, lol. Yes I do mate, completely Yeah. You mean a hand-drawn about 4x4 BIG grid blocks large wooden basket with dissolve drawn to separate the two ends from each other, with a OCTANGLE key that drops in? My first level i used logic in had that Theres some horrific perms in my older stuff to The amount of un-needed corners etc, and wasted space, is unbelievable. If I tried to make 3 fantastically awesome levels at the same time, I'm pretty sure I would explode! They are three totally different styles of levels, I flit between them when I need a break from a certain style http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_10-3.jpg any chance I can see this on a bigger scale? As my imagination is running when seeying this, it looks like some wicked blood moon on bg with all kinds of spooky flowers on it. Yeah you can have a look, but its completely not anything like you think it is , as you know the pics you can get from LBP don't give a good impression Send me a freinds request on PSN and I'll show it to you. | 2010-05-04 19:21:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
