Digital devices

A month ago or so I published a level called "Tutorial: Logical Devices in LBP". This level is a short tutorial to introduce a kind of logic that tries to mimic the logic that is used in actual computers (just like PS3). I'm not particularly proud of the level, as I don't think this logic is better in any sense that other (analogic) counters. Furthermore the level is rather simple. But... well, anyway I wanted to share with you, especially for those logic lovers that perhaps want to take a look and give me some feedback. The good of this level is that it is an actual level, even with a small silly boss. I tried to create a non-boring learning experience. My original idea was to create a digital adder, but I only created the counters, published the level, and focused on creating a better level for the boss I had created before. I'm currently thinking in continuing the project..., so for this reason I decided to post the tutorial here. Perhaps you can give some ideas to continue. I think it's not too hard, once I have the tools I need. Here go some snapshots of the level. There are lots of prize bubbles with the logic, and little bit of gameplay. I tried also to give some ideas of the kind of things that can be done with this kind of logic. | 2010-04-28 14:37:00 Author: onturenio ![]() Posts: 138 |

Yeah, that looks a LCD display. I'm not sure your way is easier or even cheaper in terms of thermometer. But the point is not to display a number, but to make a counter with it. That is not to easy ![]() | 2010-08-02 09:09:00 Author: onturenio ![]() Posts: 138 |
