Suspending prize bubbles in mid-air

Archive: 7 posts

What is the best way to do this? I've heard using tiny dark matter circles but those actually hinder the player. Right now I'm using invisible strings. Thoughts?2010-04-27 21:26:00

Glue to the background (Thin layer) or an invisable rod. 2010-04-27 21:29:00

Shrink a triangle of DM on the thin plane until its invisible and glue a point bubble to the front of it. Doesn't obstruct the player, and cant be seen. You obviously cant use this method if you're putting them over top of a thin layer, if thats the case just glue them.2010-04-27 21:33:00

You can stick invisible dark matter to them on the thin layer which doesn't hinder the player.

EDIT: LOL Grant beat me to it by a second.

Or you can make a tiny thin layer square of dark matter (make it tiny enough that it's invisible) and glue it to the point bubble. Then you can copy/paste the bubble anywhere you want and you can even grab it and move it without reattaching it if you decide you'd rather have it in a different spot.

[edit] Doh. Too late.

just to be original.... Put a large piece of dark matter off screen. Place a point bubble and connect it to the dark matter with an invisible stiff rod. Then, slowly extend the rod until the point bubble is EXACTLY where you want it. Then shrink a small piece of dark matter in the thin layer until it disappears. Glue the small piece of dark matter to the point bubble. Finally, delete the original piece of dark matter and the rod.

Or... You could just do what gruntosuk said.
