Hey guys i think i have a serious problem. I just turned on my PS3 and selected my account. The XMB starts at network and goes shows 4 loading circles. which is normal. But it wont load. When i go left and right the Game section and Friendslist wont load either. Right of ''game'' there arnt any loading circles at all. Neither can i select another account unless i force shut it and choose another one. 2 of the accounts are broken and 1 account works normally. I hope i dont have to reset anything because my psn password is set on auto login, and i dont know the password anymore. Does anybody know what caused this? i hope someone can help me out. Thnx! Edit: I forgot to mention that the Settings line loads, but if i select anything on it the PS3 freezes

Unforntunatley it sounds like the firmware got corrputed. However you can rollback to a previous firmware, there might be a thread about it here on the forums. Good Luck!

Okay i had the same problem, wat you do is press and hold the power button untill you hear 3 beeps, on the 3rd realese it ans look at the screen, it should give you the option to RESET, this defaults settings on your system, among other things. the problem should be resolved
