Enemies & Bosses

I think my new level could use some decent villains in it, I was just wondering if anyone could recommend some levels with well thought-out enemies, bosses etc. that I could look at for inspiration. The walking, spikey, jump-on-my-head-dude loses its charm pretty quickly | 2010-04-26 13:51:00 Author: Bovrillor Posts: 309 |
There's a fun bird boss in SeekingTruth's new level, and I had a pretty complex boss in Shallow Springs. Salieri's Colossal Calamity was basically a level that was just one big boss! As for regular baddies, I don't have much advice there. I generally don't really liked baddies in LBP levels | 2010-04-26 14:16:00 Author: amazingflyingpoo Posts: 1515 |
For an epic boss fight look no further than Shallow Springs. | 2010-04-26 18:57:00 Author: Fastbro Posts: 1277 |
Boss fight - Shallow Springs, Sky Islands of Oneiros(sp?) chapters 1 and 2, Colossal Calamity Enemies - Just try and spice it up from the average baddy. Give it a fireball shooting gun, a swinging axe etc. | 2010-04-26 19:02:00 Author: Unknown User |
Take a look at the wrestler creatures from Spark151's Visiting the Canyons. You need to kill them by having them jump on top of you. Pretty fun game mechanic. | 2010-04-26 19:16:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
Whoa Taffey! A new avatar?!?!? Am I late on seeing this? hahah. Anyways, that was off topic. My favorite boss is the one from Shallow Springs | 2010-04-26 23:36:00 Author: Spark151 Posts: 801 |
Whoa Taffey! A new avatar?!?!? Am I late on seeing this? hahah.Yep, just changed it this weekend - that's my pet sloggie. He's quite tame, as long as.... No, scratch that. He's not tame at all. Anyways, that was off topic. My favorite boss is the one from Shallow Springs I have to second that. Epic. | 2010-04-27 00:35:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
alot of bosses are unique in some ways, if i make a boss it probably make a shadow one where ur by these 4 windows and the shadow swipes and slashes at you with its claws then dissapears and reappears by a different window and swipes at u again so on and so on. the way to defeat him????? u will just have to find out when i make him. | 2010-04-27 03:28:00 Author: fatcat1413 Posts: 132 |
I love how everyone mentions the boss in Shallow Springs for an epic boss fight... Clearly, it's been defined as one of the best LBP Boss fights of all time, and I wholeheartedly agree. | 2010-04-27 21:34:00 Author: xero Posts: 2419 |
The Shallow Springs fight is excellent, kudos to 'Poo. Wonderful logic work Colossal Calamity I've already played, and LOVE. The walking mechanics are amazing. Will check out Visiting The Canyons... Enemies in general could be so much better if they added some kind of projectile weapon for Sackboy. I don't want to start another paintinator debacle, even something that can only fire left/right would be phenomenal as long as it had an associated switch. | 2010-04-28 13:31:00 Author: Bovrillor Posts: 309 |
it would be cool if they gave sackboy a plasma ball that u could throw and a machine that makes them. soo much easier with the bosses in many of the levels. | 2010-04-28 21:42:00 Author: fatcat1413 Posts: 132 |
