directional pad controlls
Archive: 11 posts
yes, d pad controlls thats what i want. why am i forced to walk around with the anolog stick, why is there no controll configuration option. every sidescroller i played has alleways played wit hthe buttons and its not like lbp would be unplayeble played wit hthe dpad. its just so simple, reverse the d pad and analog controls so ur emotions are on the stick and u wald using the d pad. its just what i got use to with every sidescroller i ever played and in the psp it would be a even bigger plus, i hate that little thumb stick | 2010-04-24 15:54:00 Author: ptwob Posts: 99 |
Honestly, I'd rather have it with the anolog stick. I hate D-Pads. I just couldn't use it for LBP, especially playing it all this time. | 2010-04-24 17:20:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
Well, if you use the d-pad the analog stick would have more rooms for emotes =) | 2010-04-24 19:43:00 Author: TjoxYorro Posts: 220 |
Do we really need more emotes? Happy, sad, angry and worried do me. | 2010-04-24 20:06:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
How would this even work? | 2010-04-24 22:58:00 Author: DaSackBoy Posts: 606 |
For me: Denied Reason: Bad Grammar and the fact that d-pad would be horrible for moving (playstation 1 anyone?) | 2010-04-24 23:09:00 Author: davestanley Posts: 87 |
and if you use the d pad you would only have 2 speeds, full speed and stop. it would be harder on a jetpack if your in a tight place with hazzards. i think the movements look more real and smooth. IMO | 2010-04-24 23:57:00 Author: Unknown User |
im shure allot of ppl would prefure the analog stick, but it would be nice to have it as an option, i dont really need to be able to walk really slow anyway, | 2010-04-25 23:01:00 Author: ptwob Posts: 99 |
Analogue stick gives you sooo much more control over jumping trajectory and landing, it's not just about being able to walk slowly. Obviously, having the choice doesn't really affect anyone badly in a general sense, and TBH I always find the lack of custom control mapping on consoles to be somewhat baffling, but then this is what you get for buying into a closed system The only issue I see with this would be that using the d-pad would make difficult levels even more difficult and push us further to the point where only the simplest, most dumbed-down community levels would be able to survive. But then, if someone chooses to use the d-pad, and can't see the difference between that and analogue, then they probably don't get the subtleties of analogue control and wouldn't be playing tough levels anyways... | 2010-04-26 10:23:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
Its a good idea because it is a 2Dish game but it would be terrible in jetpack and underwater situations. | 2010-04-26 16:59:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |
Its not really a bad idea, its just most people don't like using the D-Pad. | 2010-04-26 17:42:00 Author: DaSackBoy Posts: 606 |
