What just happened?

Archive: 2 posts

About 6 hours ago, I began work on my new level. Everything was going smoothly until some weird bugs
happened.
-> The first one happened when I cut 2 layers off of the floor in one of the rooms. The middle layer's hole still had the outline of the cardboard, but the center was gone. I turned off hover mode, and Sackboy just passed through it. I didn't do anything to try and fix it. After that, I put a metal platform in the space where the hole was,but it kept changing to cardboard and back. After about 10 seconds, the metal was thrown upwards and the cardboard I cut away earlier reappeared.

-> The second one was when I got mad. This happened about 30 minutes after the first bug. I was testing the way of teleporting without having to destroy the previous checkpoint. When I was satisfied, I saved and switched to play mode. (I don't think it's possible to activate checkpoints in Create.) When I reached a part with platforms connected to the floor by pistons, I was surprised since instead of being in midair, the platforms were on the floor. Annoyed, I switched back to Create. I hovered to that part and the pistons were still there as if nothing happened. But the moment I unpaused, I heard the breaking noise and every piston in the level just disappeared. One of them even stretched to double its maximum length before disappearing.

Sorry if someone posted something like this before. I'm too lazy to check.
