More space on your remote moon?

Archive: 8 posts

I think MM sort of said a while ago that they could increase space on remote moon from 20 to xx. I've only got 2 spaces left for levels (or will do in a week or so ) and have already removed old levels. I don't want to, and won't, remove any more levels that are on there, and I know that there a few other people that are getting quite full. I don't really want to spread my levels out across multiple PSN's either, I like everything neat and in one place

I think they need to up the space a little

OR you could back up the ones you least work on or play and re-place them once you have space.
Remember we now have the feature to back up levels by themselves.

Alternatevly you could back them up and move them to an alternate account.
Making alternate accounts will give you many more spaces.

Hope that helps m8!

As Silver said, back them up and you have pretty much unlimited space. 2010-04-21 09:31:00

So if you back up a level then delete it from your moon, how would you make that level reappear on your moon at a later date?2010-04-22 19:37:00

Go to a new crater, and import from backup. Also works from the USB stick.

To the original topic, I agree with Grant. More slots would be very cool. I combine stuff and make object warehouses that helps a bit, but with all the workshops I end up with.. I am running into the same issue.

You choose a blank crater and select import, it takes you to the level back up list and you select the one you want to put back. I use this all the time for a storage level I have. It's handy

EDIT: lol sniped by jww.

He's talking about published levels guys! Right? Haha

I see what you mean... Not like I'll ever get that low on room, but I know it's a tough decision. If I were you I would just go and make another PSN. This sounds weird, is only a suggestion, and is probably unneccesary, BUT you could alternate some of your published levels every week or so. It would be highly strange, but other that spreading around other PSN's and deleting old ones completely, it seems you couldn't do much else. It you switched them out every week, only we would be the ones playing them though really. You'd lose all hearts and rating every week for each level. It's really a stupid idea, but it is one.

I think you should just make another PSN. It wouldn't be that unorganized. You could always create on one PSN and just transfer the levels to the other. You'd only have to use the other PSN for publishing/hosting the levels. It wouldn't be that bad at all. I do agree though, that they should upgrade level storage limits. But, if it's true that LBP2 is coming, I doubt they'd expand the number of slots. It would probably just appear in the sequel.

*I hope I understood what you were saying...*
