Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Blu-ray.

Archive: 16 posts

Going to france for a few days next week and I'm hoping to snag a copy of Quest for Booty on Blu-ray.

Would I be correct in assuming that like the PSN version the language will default to the consoles language?

I think you're right, seeing as you'd have to install the game on your console.2008-10-04 01:41:00

I'm just assuming that with the blu-ray edition being released in multiple countries in europe they included every language on the discs.

I was just in Spain and tried to pick it up as I wanted a Blu-Ray copy. 40 euros for it. NOPE. Didn't buy it, I shall be getting it from PSN if eBay can't throw out a decently priced copy soon.2008-10-07 14:33:00

Just picked it up from Auchan in Frace for ?19.90 works out as a few quid more then the download but having a tangible product is worth it. Also defaulted to English as I had hoped.

Nice. Are you still typing this from in France or have you returned to Hull? If you're still around and want to pick up another copy, I'd take one off your hands and pay the P&P etc. Still loads cheaper than eBay!

Congrats on managing to get a copy at a reasonable price!

No worries. I'm still keeping a beady eye on the eBay. Let me know if it's worth the hassle, yeah?2008-10-09 12:04:00

I already got it on blu-ray And I loved playing it, but there wasn't any clank gameplay... wich would've been pretty cool.2008-10-09 15:19:00

I forked out for an eBay copy. That and Lego Batman should now keep me busy once the beta finishes...2008-10-09 15:22:00

To confirm, there is both a PSN download and a Blu-Ray disc?

(I got Q4B the second day it released on PSN, so...)

The Disk was only going to be released in Europe because our broadband is nowhere near as fast as the US, so people were not likely to buy it off the store (sales off full games, I am lead to believe, are much lower per head over here than they are in the US) but at the last minuite, they also cancelled the UK edition of the Blu-Ray disks. So those of us pre-ordered were stuck. Mainland Europe still got theirs. I believe Asia also got copies on Disk.

I bit the bullet and ordered one off eBay. Fingers crossed that it arrives quickly!
