so who picked this up on PS3? (or downloaded them) man this is so much better than the vanilla GTAIV, I just love parachuting into a lantern.

I nominate this thread for the "Most acronyms in a single thread title" award. Are the DLC's really worth it? I haven't been able to finish the GTAIV story mode because I always get bored of it before the end.

i want to get the 2 new episodes as i love GTA and i havnt heard anythin especially bad about then i think its funny there more expensive on the PSN that in some shops

I don't know, man... 40 bucks for the pair. 40 BUCKS. That's pretty steep for DLC, considering you're not getting any new locations or expansions to the city itself, which is arguably the chief draw of the game.

There's a few new locations which are the interiors of new safehouses and clubs. The DLC may be pricey but there's ample playtime in its new story and side missions to justify the cost, I'm 18 hours into TLaD and still have a few main and side missions to do and TBoGT is aparently even longer. Of course if you feel $40 is too much for them you can pick whatever price your willing to pay and wait for the disc to reach that price.

That might be the way to go, because I imagine it's a lot of install content too, and I'm doing a lot of maintenance these days keeping the old 60 gig clear. Seems worth keeping my eye out for in the stores, I'd be happy to play through these, just not for 40 bucks at this point.

The install size on the UK Blu ray is 2814 mb the US version will probably be something close to that. The download version of TBoGT is aparently 2061mb and TLaD I've only seen a rough quote of around 2Gb so the disc takes up roughly 1.2Gb less space and thats without factoring in that the download versions also need IV's 3.3Gb data file installed.

+ the disc version gives you an exclusive radio station, Vice City FM. if you've played GTA:VC you'll appreciate that station.
