Really, i swear to finsta dog... i just need the darned 4x treasures to finish out my trophies for the PotC set, yeah? i start up and wait and wait and wait, and usually one person will join, then maybe two...except if two people do join on, one will leave almost immediately after... RAARRG! getting 3 other players at the same time on that one is like herding cats... Chris, Waffle King of Osaka

You can actually do that 4 player part with 2 players. Mm have slipped up there and it's possible to move quickly between 2 adjacent buttons and activate both so 2 players can do 2 buttons each. Incase you don't know the treasure chest above is nothing to do with it, I've no idea why they put that there. The buttons dissolve a smalll bit of floor underneath you and let you swim down to 5 clams with prizes in. They shut when you're in them though so you'll have to do 2 and then respawn and do the same with the other 2 which then opens up the big one in the middle.

If you're quick, you can nab the prizes in the clams before they shut. Not really an issue, though, as you can easily pop if they catch you. But, yes, as mistervista said, grab one friend and you should be fine.

So...ka... Alrighty, i'll give it another old college try then. i like the idea of forced multiplay, in theory. Encouraging people to game together is kinda keen. However, in practice, it's been a huge pain in the keister for me. Especially since the few people i know (real-world sense) with ps3s don't play LBP... le sigh. chris, waffle king of osaka

hrmm.. gave the 2player trick a try, but we couldn't seem to get the timing of the thing right, and the other chap got frustrated and popped out of the level...not that i blame him. i might try to wrangle my wife into giving me a hand with it tonight or tomorrow. it'll probably be easier being able to actually talk with the other player. as an aside, Oerjeke, that is a dead awesome sig you got going there. Plus, there's the assumed time-zone-differences, and a fairly irregular play schedule... i always worry that i'll end up putting people out? M'wife gave me a bit of hand with this one this morning, so we finally picked up those last 5treasures... ended up being way easier than i thought. But i'll definitely keep a more open mind about using the boards for group play in the future....saa...there's still the Party Person trophy to be gotten (as well as Creator, but that'll wait until i actually make something deserving of it). Argh! Trying to find 4 players to play with, but the online playing with LBP is... really bad. Pretty big part of the community are French (pretty hard to communicate), survival-douches and if you manage to find people to get something done, the server connection backfires. And my connection is pretty decent so I can't blame that. But if someone wants to help me with this thing, I'd appreciate it.

I did the chest section (4xplayer) by myself an extra controller-- took two minutes of my life... I'm cursing the bay because - for the life of me I'm missing 3 or 4 more prize bubbles... I feel as if I have exhausted this level... arrgh... guess it's just me that's exhausted.

If you have the patience for it you can do it by yourself if you only need 2 players, for most of the x2 player sections in the game I just used 2 controllers, takes twice as long but it saves you the trouble of waiting desperately online for people to join. In the story levels all, yes ALL, of the 4 player goodies I got with one other person online, we just both used 2 controllers. Hope that helps, best of luck Note: Sometimes you have to manipulate your hands to be able to do the tasks of both controllers, the first wilderness level comes to mind...
