I hope you all remember it. It was "announced" back with the Metal Gear Solid pack, but then... Nothing! http://www.psu.com/media/littlebigplanet-/site_littlebigplanet--ss-86.jpg I remember reading something about them "waiting for the right time to release it". Apparently that time was not at the release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, Or Final Fantasy Dissidia, Or Final Fantasy XIII. So what gives? They have costume concepts, Level ideas would be simple to think of, there's plenty of things to choose from to make as a Power-up... So I know they just don't have ideas for it. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/9/97/SephirothLBP.jpg What could possibly have stopped them from making/releasing it?

I heard it was money, the ones that made the Final Fantasy series wanted to much money, but that is what I've heard somewhere.

Honestly, it would be better for them if they did do it for less money. Its like advertisement. And with Final Fantasy 7 available on the PSN, they would get a ton of income from people who want to get back into the classic.

I don't get why they have to pay for these things, surely they could cut a deal like SE get 50% money made on sales or something along those lines, maybe more if SE are that greedy. MM went to the bother of making the costumes so they wouldn't be losing anything would they? And SE would be getting money as well based on sales which would presumably have been high if they released it at a good time. win win no? I'm sure Sony get a cut too though so not sure how much there would be to cut in half.

He ran through the hallways until he found Spaff's office where he held Spaff at gun point (well, it wasn't actually a gun, more of an iced bun). He yelled in his gruff pirate accent about the Final Fantasy pack and how "tis be the pack that will never see the light of day!" He said that if they released the pack, he'd shove the iced bun in Spaff's face. The MM employees agreed never to release the pack and they signed his contract stating this, right on the dotted line. And with that, he vanished... true story.

Well now that Sony own Mm we might be lucky enough to get this pack at some point. If we ever do I really hope it's based around FF7 as that had by far the best characters and story of any FF game ever. You couldn't possibly have an FF costume pack without Cloud and Sephiroth !

Yes I loved 9 too. 7 and 9 are by far my favourite two. A Vivi costume would be cool , think he was in 9 wasn't he ? Can't remember any more from that offhand but there were plenty more good ones in 9 that would make great costumes I'm sure. Also Moogle and chocobo costumes must be a no-brainer. Come on Square Enix and Sony, you know it makes sense.
