TurnTable 360 (survival challenge)haredriel
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=15491This is a survival challenge I made last year. It is very different from any other survival challenge (Or a normal level, for that matter)
Here, you have to stay on a speeding up platform, which is kind of hard, when there's a gap in the middle and you have to make a side transition on a 2-small grid square area, and the table is made partially of glass.
Oh, did I mention the missiles that steadily hurl towards you?
Luckily that is only how the level ends up. At the start it's piece-of-cake with ledges and fabric balls to help you out.
Here are some pictures in-game:

Hope you have fun!
(I'll be accepting, but not expecting 10 F4F's)

Hey Arradi. This is one of my favourites of yours. I've played it a few times, but I still haven't got the High-Score. It's very fun though, and it isn't a newbie-friendly survival challenge. (as the BOMB survivals are) I think these survival levels deserves lot more plays, than those Bomb and Shark survival that rules the Cool Rankings.2010-04-18 12:34:00

Thanks, both of you! Some random guy just came really close to beating my Hi-score of 1833, and got 1510! I'm a little scared.... That 1833 was really hard to get!

Edit: apparently the "random guy" just posted below me. Congratulations on the great score!

my only thing was, maybe use something different instead of the red neon on the wheel maybe use something that fits in with the scenery

Yeah, I could change it, but.. You see, I've become quite adapted to the MGS Gecko metal/Embossed cardboard + VR material combination I put it just about in every level. Even an iceberg in the arctic sea from one of my unfinished projects had it inside

But I think I'll do a major visual revamp. Which will include:
-Awesome 3D layer background
-More realistic wheel
-And some slight imrovements, mainly the icicle though.

It was pretty hard but I liked it
Bad:
-First moment when it spins slowly
-Too hard for moments like LittleBigParty with friends
Good:
+Finally something else than those bomb and shark challenges.
+Nice difficulty for advanced players
+Good voices and nice difficulty-ups
:star::star::star::star: I liked it a lot but I never made it long enough to reach Hi-score. When I died, I begun to hear rocket voices. Is that a finishing effect or another difficulty-up?

The rockets are a difficulty-up. In addition to making you jump every turn and blowing the score bubbles partially away, It destroys the embossed cardboard covering the wheel and unveiling the dreaded glass surface below it.
Also, would you guys like to have an "observe" mode where you can see how insane it gets before landing on the scoreboard?

No,I don't think so. Having an observe mode, would just ruin the experience. You need to play it again to observe what happens.
