Coheed and Cambria

Anyone else like Coheed and Cambria? I've always found their combination of progressive rock and emo interesting. Their new album just came out a couple days ago, and it's fantastic. As with all of their albums, it's pretty different from their last album, but it's still awesome. Has anyone else listened to it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l82VECmgFsQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF9ZhUnNXxw&feature=related | 2010-04-17 06:32:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |

Only heard of that song on Rock Band that they created, but I thought it was pretty good. Just a little far out there to me.... a little strange. Haha | 2010-04-17 16:23:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |

Listening to "The Lost Shepherd" right now. Such a great band. I enjoy their first two albums more than the Good Apollo records, but those albums are nothing to shrug off. Really enjoying Year of the Black Rainblow too. A little harder coming out of Good Apollo, but I love the move back to a more progressive sound. Favorites that all should check out: Time Consumer God Send Conspirator The Camper Velourium I: The Faint of Hearts 21:13 The Suffering Mother Superior Gravediggers & Gunslingers Guns of Summer By the way, "Guns of Summer" will melt your face off! Rock Band pack out today (or Tuesday if you have a 360) with three tracks from the new album. | 2010-04-22 21:28:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |

Rock Band pack out today (or Tuesday if you have a 360) with three tracks from the new album. All great songs, especially Mother Superior. I'm actually listening to Faint of Heart right now. I love the cowbell and the whole "coo coo ca choo" thing. (Yes, I know it's from that Beatles song). Anyway, one of my favorite songs by them, which I originally hated for being way too cheesy, is Blood Red Summer. I can't help it, all they're cheesy songs grow on me! Kinda like Feathers. Anyway, anyone know why they decided to put the Avril Lavigne/Go! Team-esque claps in there? Seriously! Also, for anyone who hasn't listened to any of their earlier stuff, Delirium Trigger is awesome. | 2010-06-07 00:56:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
I like the instrumental version of "Welcome Home", I don't care for his voice... | 2010-06-07 01:02:00 Author: AbstractFlesh Posts: 837 |
Oh wow! I have a new band to look up. They're no Alesana, but then again, I don't like this as much as screamo anyways. (And by look up, I mean bootleg. ) | 2010-06-07 02:23:00 Author: Voltergeist Posts: 1702 |
