System quits game when I click play or edit

| This is very odd, but when i click on edit a level or play a level, my ps3 either quits the game and directs me to the XMB or it freezes. extremely weird and have no idea what is causing this problem. Can someone do the same and see what happens? | 2010-04-17 02:17:00 Author: Rex6333  Posts: 21 |
| Hmmm...does it do it every single time? If so your profile might be corrupt  I suggest you back it up straight away and copy it to a USB stick. Then Go into the GameData folder and delete everything lbp related. Next go into the SaveData folder and delete the file that has a picture of your sackboy in a little white photo frame. (This probably isnt necessary but I do it anyway) Then, copy the data you saved onto your USb pen into the savedata folder. Go into LBP and youll probably be popped into the intro level. Complete the level and wait for Stephen Fry to finish explaining what your pod is for. Then press the start button and go to settings ---> profile settings and then click on import profile. Select the profile thats there ( its the one you copied into the savedata folder from your USB pen.) And thats it.  Hopefully should work . | 2010-04-17 11:25:00 Author: theamilien  Posts: 485 |

| I just found out that this only happens to one of my levels i have been working on for a while. It will not allow me to do ANY actions to it such as, copy, publish, move, or back up. If i ever do press x on any of these options it takes me back to the XMB. If i do this to any other of my levels it does not take me to the XMB. | I just found out that this only happens to one of my levels i have been working on for a while. Similar thing happened to comphy. Basically that level is corrupted, and there's probably not much you can do about it. If you have an earlier backup, then roll-back to that, otherwise you're probably gonna have to start again. With regards to backups, even if you don't have a backup of that level, as long as you have a profile backup, then all your levels will be backed up in that. | 2010-04-17 17:48:00 Author: Aya042  Posts: 2870 |
