Does anyone else miss Pre Leerdammer LBP?

Archive: 15 posts

I'm not sure I know how to put this...

It just seems like my primetime with LBP was back before leerdammer came out.

The glitches, the different levels... Right after leerdammer, my favorite creator went into hiding, and my best friend in school which I made by playing LBP online with him, had completely forgotten I existed by this year's start.

The steady flow of DLC's, and decent, non-disney ones (not that I have a problem with them but they are meh compared to original media molecule stuff, and sony liscensed stuff)

I still have TONS of fun with LBP, but does anyone else feel like this?

There might of been a steadier flow of download content, but I feel its of higher quality now. Well, except for the sonic pack. Its pretty awful. My only complaint is my game seems to lag alot more as of late. But that could just be my connection.2010-04-15 03:31:00

Might I add leerdammer brought online create, more profile space, checkpoint updates, and a whole lot of oth er stuff.

Then after that there was alot more update (and a major one: Danish Blue).

So why is everyone hating on leerdammer? Also, LBP gots ALOT of DLC already..

It's not your connection. I've noticed the lag has been much worse over the last 3 weeks or so. It's as bad as it's ever been at times. I'm guessing Mm have been messing with the servers and such after the recent bandwith beta test and they've made things much worse instead of better.

You joking?
All of the updates have improved the game, and thats the one that allowed for online create ain’t it? That’s like the best thing to do on LBP I think, mess around in create with friends.

All the things you said about isn’t anything to do with the actual game, just the age of the game its self… everything dies one day, even LittleBIGPlanet will I’m afraid =(

Not so long ago I deleted the LBP game data so I could do the swopped material properties glitch in like every combination possible… it felt like a completely different game.

The games got better, and it will probably still improve.

Only thing I missing is scrolling through the stickers and materials in less than 5 minutes.2010-04-15 15:16:00

Only two things I dislike about the update.

1. "Getting Levels" - incredibly annoying, can sometimes last more than 5 minutes.

I agree with that, once it says "Getting levels" you have to sit there waiting for quite some time, its not like you can even click out of it or anything! You just have to wait which is annoying.

Gah, I think that you're right silver.

My life has completely began to suck more and more coincidently after the update, so i guess that's it.

I mean, my parents divorcing, school, bullies, bllarrrgh.

LBP was the best thing that ever happened to me back then, and now it's an escape from the real world.

Even before Leardammer, back when the anti-color glitch was fixed, and the Thin-Thick layer glitch was fixed. I don't see them as glitches, I see them as hidden secrets in the game.2010-04-15 23:42:00

We hide behind things to escape from our troubles and when we can't we blame people or even things we love...
You don't want your escape to be changed or altered...

I was trying to get to someone's profile to see if they had any level and it took 15 minutes for 'Getting Levels' to finish. The guy didnt even have any levels!
