Keep in mind that even if you know an abbreviation very well there are probably thousands that might not have the slightest clue of what you mean, not to mention that there might be many things with the same initials, so it would help being more specific.

Err, I don't really understand what that has to do with anything. Could you maybe explain why you want to know when hong kong psn updates are? And do you mean midnight in your timezone, or in Hong Kong?

Perhaps he has a Hong Kong PSN account to get stuff early? I know PS3 owners outside Japan can get Japanese PSN accounts so I suppose it could be a similar thing.
