You can republish, you basically publish your level once, then every 10 minutes or so, go to your level, make a small change like moving a small block of dark matter, save it, then publish it over the old level, this pushes it to the front page and it grabs a few plays each time. Just don't do this excessively!2010-04-14 02:27:00

Yep....republish your level every once in a while and your level will get played. To get noticed by MediaMolecule, you need an outstanding level.2010-04-14 02:38:00

Oh to get noticed by MM you just have to make something amazing like "The Azure Palaze" for example, or a really good/ creative fan thing (video, object, whatever as long as its good)2010-04-15 22:50:00

Getting noticed by MM is a bit of a pot luck thing as far as I can tell. Making something amazing will quite often not be anywhere near enough to get noticed. There are plenty of amazing creations out there that never get noticed by MM (or have you all forgotten the sackies?). You pretty much have to get noticed by the community before you get noticed by MM as far as I can tell.

Level showcase is the obvious place to start. Spam publishing will also help, as long as you don't mind your PSN friends hating you and you have a cool pages friendly level. One thing to remember is that once you do start to get noticed, there is a very distinct snowball effect. Obviously this is most pronounced during the first week after publishing, but it occurs afterwards as well through word of mouth and people monitoring their friends lists. So if you can get the ball rolling by doing publicity then you will see a greatly increased interest in your levels.

ok thanks. Before I posted this topic, I usally post when there is a grreater-then-usual players online, then repost once every hour. is once per hour too little? and location also a factor? (I.E. putting a level on the U.S. area more viewed then the australlia or the poles)2010-04-15 23:27:00

Too little, try to repost every 10 mins or less, I also found getting up early in the mornings about 7:30am helps if you can, mainly because less plays are needed to get a level onto the 1st busiest page (normally an average of 3 plays per level) so repost over and over during this time with the combination of new level pages and busiest pages (depending on quality) you could get about 27 plays every 25 mins by about 8:30 if you are lucky and keep reposting.

This is much better than publishing later when levels have say have about 107 plays on a level on busiest page, with this tatic, if you make sure you repost often enough you will remain on these pages all day and be a popular level during the time when levels have about 107 plays

Location depends, it varies from time to time. the north pole, america and europe are the most popular.

I republish about once every 30-60 minutes(depends how much I want to push my creation like if I spent forever on it I'd probably republish more often). More along the lines of hourly if I wasn't doing updates for my latest level and it's performing just fine, I think doing it every 10 mins sounds extreme! I think the time thing is interesting, must give that a shot some time but yeah. What is the target plays you would be aiming for?2010-04-16 22:47:00

Having your level recorded by people who own capture cards and cameras for youtube can also help (especially for the PSP version), there are a lot of recorders here (I'm been busy for a while, so if you do ask me, it may be a quite a while before I get to it2010-04-16 23:32:00
