Apolacypto: The Prologue ***Skyler99
This level is a post-apocalyptic level. Extremely detailed and has a great storyline. This is the first of the series. The prologue featured here helps explain the storlying of the whole series. Iam working on the next level featuring more monsters, more gameplay with the same amount of detail and scenery. I am having some computer problems so I have to use a link for my screenshot.

What a stunning level :hero: This would deserve much more feedback. Its atmosphere reminds me a bit of Enslaved , NinjaTheory's new game (well, it's less colorful, but the presence of plants simply reminds me of this game ^^)

So, I start the level. The first thing I told myself was Wow, where should I go first ? I've always loved wooden scaffoldings in LBP, so I was happy to see some there. Then I saw your name below, totally fitting the rest of the level (the font, the color, the music. Everything matched).
Okay, let's go on. I jumped onto the cars as I wondered how much time you must have spent working on this scenery. Oh, a destroyed poster (the one with the woman) ! Nice, a little detail contributing to this awesome atmosphere. I tried to jump to the green bough, but I slipped No, NOOO ! I fell to the sloping girder, I was gonna fall down to the gas... Oh, no wait.
Luckily he thought of putting lamps one can grab, so I can just go on without dying.

Okay, so I climbed higher. Um, ivy...Well done ^^ Oh, wait, what's that ? A Paintinator..um, whta's going on... ? Oh, is this a helicopter ? Hum, I don't think a helicopter has got wings... and scales. Let's kick the *** of that creature ! I like how it's moving.

Then I arrived to the second boss battles. I think it's my favorite part. This scenery (the building is amazing). Destroyed, with plants and wood. I just love this. Great use of the stickers too. Vera Bee, History Pack ( gargoyle).

Then I arrived to the part with the earthquake and the explosion. I wil never ever get tired of these explosions, and I'll will never know how to make them ^^ Anyway, when I jump onto the car, it rised and I think I was able to see a piece of mecanism above Not that important.

So, I just loved your level ^^ I thought it was too short, but given its content, I won't say anything about that. I'm looking forward to playing the next part

PS : I fav'd it of course.
PS2 : Haha, I just laughed when I saw it has an average of 3 stars. *Cough* jealousy *cough* hum hum.

PS3 : Forgive my bad English, I tried my best ^^

I know I have already given you feedback in other places skyler, but I am going to say this is a good level, with epic scenery and story. I can't wait for the real levels, because I didn't like the length (well it is a prologue so..). Good luck with your creation with the actual levels!

Anyone reading this, you have to play the level

Well, just played this level, and I must say, it looks amazing.
Great detail, feels like it's supped to do for an apocalyptic setting. I also really loved your design on the enemies.
Sure it was short, but for a prologue that's no big deal.
I'm surely gonna play this again as I only found 1 out of 3 hidden switches and I apparently gotta be faster
Can't wait to see the rest of the series!

Wow thank you for the awesome feedback..never thought I wouldve gotten great opinions most people hated it because it has like no gameplay..so that means alot, thanks alot. I will make sure the next level is longer and has more gameplay but still has the same amount of detail and atmosphere.2010-04-13 03:39:00
