Worst movies you've ever seen?

Twilight: New Moon.
It's just the basic teen blockbuster that tries to cash in with guys without shirts. It infuriates me. Why don't just have a flashing text through-out the movie that says "We're not even trying!"

So, your opinions?

Definitely has to Death Proof,
It just makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, at point I thought the movie had gone back into th past, turns out it had actually jump forwards in time.
Btw this isn't a very family friendly movie.

I'd have to say Breathing room. This is probably the lowest budget horror film around, and is really unbelievable, and generally rubbish. It tries to make a SAW type movie, but fails completely with rubbish actors and bad special effects.
On another note Twilight series seem like more tweeny films to me, and I find it no different from movies like Camp Rock (Don't worry, I haven't seen this!) or something, as thier aimed at the age group, and are generally quite bad, stupid and childish, even though they try not to be. And vampires sparkle in the sunlight?! Way to kill a mythical creature's scariness!

HIDDEN.

Some pretentious french film that the critics raved about and it's always rated 5 stars in official reviews but I have to say it's the worst film I've ever seen by a long long way. It's just rubbish. Nothing happens in it and it doesn't even have a decent ending. I believe the director said that's because he wants people to make up their own ending. Yeah right ! In other words he even thought it was crap himself and couldn't be bothered to finish it.

Of course the plot was complete nonsense, but the point of that movie was to be a thrillride of amazing special effects, and it did a great job on that. Also, if that's the worst movie you've ever seen, you haven't seen many bad movies

The worst movie I ever saw? Well, I'm a sucker for clown movies, so I got one from blockbuster that must have had the camera as half the movie's budget.

The worst well-know movie I've ever seen is My Super X-Girlfriend... The commercial had the only interesting scenes and quotes from the entire movie.

I'd rather be forced to watch any old or new Disney film then watch any of the Twilight Saga.

Anyway, not too long ago I was on an airplane and my cousin who was sitting next to me was watching Dragonball: Evolution. Knew that movie was doomed to below-mediocre standard before it was even released and my occassional glances at it confirmed it. In hindsight, I should've probably told her it'd be horrible rather then her finding out the hard way.

On the other hand, if a movie really is bad enough it just might come off as unintentionally entertaining for me. I really liked Mystery Science Theater 3000 when it was still on the air...:

The Room. The Room! THE ROOM!!!

It's so bad, that it's insulting. but at the same time, it's absolutely hilarious. Its best moments are when it tries to take itself seriously, only to fail in the most abysmal way possible. For that reason, it's become a bit of a cult classic of late... It really is a must see

*gets the shivers*

OMG, watch videos on Youtube, it's unforgettable :hero: They dared steal a scene from Star Wars, but they didn't steal a piece of the reel, they filmed the scene playing on a television. Wonderful !

The Happening: aka When M Night Shyamalan hit rock bottom.

Saw V: One of 2 Saw films i've seen. I despise the crew for continuing to make this pathetic attempt at a film.

Rollerball (The Remake): I haven't seen the original but we had to turn this off half way through, it was that bad!

Also, Knowing (Ughhh) and The Box (Arrrggghhh).

Great list! You've got The Box and The Happening together. These two movies would be great friends, I imagine.

Actually, M. Night Shyamalan has been on an embarassing downward spiral ever since Signs. Every subsequent movie he's done since The Sixth Sense has been a step down from the previous one, until he just outright made an atrocious joke of a B-movie with The Happening.

Richard Kelly's got a hell of a track record going. 3 movies. One is considered by many (mostly young) movie-goers to be one of the best films of recent generations - Donnie Darko. He followed it up with a wretched train wreck (Southland Tales), and followed that one up with a travesty known as The Box. I cannot WAIT to see where this kid's career goes, I've been following it since the beginning.

Also, for anyone who still isn't sold by all the recommendations for "The Room", let this persuade you (and there is some slight language):

Death Proof was great. I love Tarantino's writing. The scene at the diner with the second quartet of girls was classic.

Worst: Riki-Oh, Starship Troopers 3.

Blade Trinity was appalling but I have a man crush on Ryan Reynolds so I'll let that one slide.

Huh. i thought it was actually pretty darn good - and we have a very nice HDTV plus the Blu-Ray.. oh well, maybe I need mah eyes checked? Maybe I was so preoccupied being terrified of all the ocean everywhere.... *starts to sweat*

Worst movie for me would hands down have to be Mr Bean's Holiday. We took the kids because they nagged us to the edge of our sanity and then Rowan Atkinson pushed us over that edge. It's the only movie I've ever sat through where it actually took physical effort for me to stay in the cinema.

For me story wise, definitely Avatar.

The special effects were very realistic and beautiful, but once the movie's CGI become the main point of the movie, its lost all of its intelligence. CGI is a way to express the story, not be the story.

Plus the story was a rip off of Dances with Wolves with the Smurfs. It was really boring for me, because you knew what was going to happen at then end, and I had to sit there for two hours watching CGI effects.

Now, I don't like watching movies, hence a small pool to choose from, so theres probably others out there who I could bash on, butt....

Avatar sucked, In my opinionz

Speaking of smurfs and movies,

Oh boy... worst movies. I've seen quite a few.

Off the top of my head:
"The Core", "Mortal Kombat Annihilation" and "Gnaw: Food of the Gods II".

I've heard that "Battlefield Earth" was horrible, and I was tempted to see it when it came out too (thankfully I didn't).

Here's one I'd be tempted to see just to find out how abysmally bad it must be judging by this one scene:
"Starcrash"

"The Rats".

So these man eating (bio-engineered or something) rats escape the lab and multiply.
The heros find out that they are attracted to a certain perfume, so they dump it all in a swimming pool, and the rats fill the pool.
Then they blow them up. They don't set them on fire which seems the logical thing to do, they blow them up. You see rat chunks fly everywhere, no way in hell the explosion would kill all the rats in the pool (as heroes were right beside it lol), but anyway it did somehow.
Spoiler alert! After everything is back to normal, some bad rats climb out of the drain. Who would have thought RATS would find a way to survive? Um, everyone!?!

44 inch chest.
Don't get fooled by the "Supposedly" great cast.
This movie is just 90 minutes of watching 5 old cockney gangsters sitting in a empty room gratuitously swearing.
Terrible movie.

JAWS 4- the revenge.
The shark only attacks members of the one family.
Then they fly to the Bahamas to get away, but the shark has beaten the plane and is ready waiting for them.

Roy Chubby Brown- UFO movie
A DVD that was given to me- smutty garbage that was embarrassingly unfunny.
Terrible beyond description.

Yes, there was an actual sequel. No, it didn't have Steve Martin...and no, it didn't work at all. In fact, I truly believe it's one of the worst movies ever made. Imagine "The Jerk" with an unknown actor trying to ACT like Steve Martin, and without the funny bits. They used "looking crosseyed" as a main joke throughout the film.

About a VCR store that's trying to stay afloat while they're competing against DVD stores. Then one of the owners friends (Jack Black) comes into the store after being electrocuted and erases all the videos so the store owner and jack try to remake the movies by them self. Just horrible film.

I would HARDLY call that the worst movie ever. It was a misfire as far as I'm concerned, but it was a very light movie - Michel Gondry's love letter to movies. I wasn't a fan of it by any stretch, but just try sitting through Battlefield Earth or Troll 2 or The Room or Showgirls or any Uwe Boll movie and then see if Be Kind, Rewind is the worst movie ever.

Oof, i don't know if I could do The Room again. I admit I had a fun time and a lot of laughs watching it, but I also felt afterward like it might have done some damage to me, like I might be slighter dumber, and possibly a few filmmaking talent cells died forever without my knowing it.

Anyway, just digging through my memory banks and thought this thread could really use some big Hollywood crap. The Room's pretty terrible, but you've got to love it, it's such a one-man show.

So I'm just going to throw this one out there: Wild Wild West.

Anything from Danielle Steel.

Hellboy 2
The Grudge 3
Paranormal activity (ending makes it even worse, lamest designed demon EVER.. well.. besides lazer-mounted land sharks)
Sex and the City the movie.

But i liked Hellboy 2! D: it had its moments....

I think that Ninja Assassin was lame [Gore gfx sucked.] and Kronks New Groove.....It didnt have a llama.

Probably this, no creativity in those Disney movies, usually the same plots over and over.
