this is my question, how can i get a crown for my character, i heard we had a monthly contest for crowns.

Make a post in the workshop forums about it, and name your level according the rules of the contest.

Be carefull though! you really have to do your best and be creative to win a crown! Dont be discouraged if you dont win! And if you do, congrats with your future crown!
