School Trips

Archive: 11 posts

hey! what's up? You guys probably didn't notice, but i was in Washington DC for a week with like 30 other freshmen from my school!

I was wondering if any of you guys got any funny school trip stories

edit: how do u do spoiler things?

Heres mine:

anyway, we stayed in a hotel, with 4 people per room, which was weird because there were only 2 beds -_-, and at the end of the hall there was a guard...

we werent allowed to go outside of our rooms, or even open the door, after 10:00. If we did, the guard would wake up one of the 8 parents on the trip.

My room decided to do a funny thing with the guard each night.

Night# 1

at around 10:30 Me and this other kid slowly and quietly opened the door, and I placed this small framed picture of my sister outside of our door. At 11 we heard a knock, and all the other 3 kids hid in the room, making me answer it by myself... and I suck at making excuses lol
This is how the conversation went:

Guard: What is this?
Me: My sister
Guard: What is she doing here?
Me: guarding the door from bad people
Guard: Well you should keep it in your room.
Me: Oooooh soo that when a bad guy comes in, she can deal with him?
Guard: go to bed kid.

After that my whole room was laughing really hard and we decided to mess with the guard every night

lol

Night #2
My friend who is across the hall from my room left his backpack full of stuff in our room, so we both quietly opened our doors
Me and my other friend in my room were gettin ready to throw it across the hall when we see the guard...
We told him what really happened... and he gave them the bag.

Night #3!!!! <<<<best one

at first we were gonna stuff my backpack friend^ into his roommates HUGE suitcase, but his head was a tad too tall...
so then we organized a huge parade down the halls at midnight...

we got 20 people to say they would do it, but our cue guy we assigned went 5 minutes early, and the guard caught him, so immediately that went from 20 people to 0 people.

My room and the room across from us REALLY wanted to do it, so we dressed up as ghosts, and ran out there for 3 seconds, and closed the door...
the guard woke up an awesome parent, and the parent offered to get us anything... we said we were really thirsty and if we could get some ice...

ahhhh that was funnn

Only the very good kids go on school trips. Good thing I am one then

Most recently I've been to BBC Radio Northampton, but I've also been to the Imperial War Museum in London and to my local police station

It's awsome because my friend never goes on them, due to a 'breakdown in communications'

My school toured the East Coast for a week (of our Spring Break... -_-).

All I have to say about this is that it was fun...

Oh, and don't trust street vendors selling umbrellas.

Last school trip I went on was to a regional writing competition. There were 2 of us from each grade. It was really fun, being one of the seniors, I didn't much care about winning.

We spent the whole time making fun of the teacher in charge of us. We attempted to book him (slipped books on depression and breast cancer in his bag while we were in the other school's library), but the library's alarm didn't trip. That was awkward. We essentially stole the books.
