I got a LBP Beta invitation a few hours ago, and I just now tried to redeem the code through the PlayStation Store, but it wouldn't work. I kept receiving an error saying that the code is not valid or that it is no longer in use. Does anybody have any ideas? Here is a copy of the e-mail I received. Well, my guess is either you placed the code wrong or some one else used it (don't ask me how, its just my guess...) or there was a time limit to use it and its past due that date.

I've typed the code several times and many different ways. I only received the code three hours ago, so I'm sure it would still be good. I was thinking, too, that someone else may have guessed the code and used it. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed.

yeah I just got a code from the same type of email and when i enter it it gives me the same error. Very strange to think that both codes had been used already. makes me sad

It might be the codes came out in error as it is a bit suspicious that some had them at the same exact time as the Beta Vest code was sent out. It might also be that they are valid codes, but not yet enabled since there is no current Beta in progress.

Thanks for the info, guys. I e-mailed PlayStation Customer Service last night about it. I'm waiting on a response, so we'll see how that goes.

Well, im guessing that maybe the codes not valid yet, it happened to me once. I got an email just like this, and the code wouldnt work, then about a week later, it ended up working.

I won'r be able to get to the bottom of this until Monday, but this is all you need to know: THERE IS NO NEW BETA RIGHT NOW THESE EMAILS WERE SENT IN ERROR Sorry about that, dashing hopes n' all, but at lease those test vests are finally making their way out right? And there is a certainty that we will definitely be having more beta tests in the future, so look forward to those
