Archive: 16 posts

Check it out guys and gals. LBP is going to eventually add water, gravity controls, camera controls, recording.... Also some other awesome tidbits. Using the in game switches, one of the programmers was able to create a simple computer.

This game keeps on getting better and better:

Imagine a sackboy getting soaked and then having to shake off. LOL.

Also would love to see some water based physics puzzles where say you have to release enough water to fill up a bucket, which spills over and releases a gate or something. Could be totally amazing.

I can't help but remember one of Life's basic rules...

"try spinning a plate: that is impressive and the audience are happy , but try spinning three plates and you will just screw up and humiliate yourself"

I assume you're less than enthusiastic about the addition of water...I don't think that water will mess up the other elements. The metaphor doesn't really work.

The ACTUAL interview says these are just possibilities, some of them probabilities, but not certainties. And also, they're probably not going to be ready on the disc, and will have to be downloaded in a later patch.

Reshy.. Life doesn't have rules. And if it did, i've never heard of that one. Plus, there are plenty of people out there who can spin like, six plates and not screw up at all... I think media molecule may be one of these people

I think the 720p is kinda interesting because it allows the depth of field option which i liked in MLB The Show. I'm not sure the about the 30fps vs. 60fps but i hope it will be alright.2008-07-07 17:21:00

The graphics stuff doesn't worry me that much - a ton of games look gorgeous at 720p and 30 fps. There are also games that look like crap at 1080p and 60 fps.2008-07-07 19:05:00

Very irrelevant to LittleBigPlanet, but its a "game" that uses a hell of alot of water. The water does look and act amazingly, i think theres a little trailer. looks like it would make a good film, but its a strange concept for a game.

Adding to a post I said above, about it being released in patches after the game, I think youtube support and maybe a couple others will be available straight from disc now.
