Just the beginning of the best level ever.

LBP has seen a lot of incredible levels as of late. Maybe I just never noticed how many great levels are constantly coming out, maybe I hadn't tried hard enough to find good levels, but to have Mrsupercomputer, comphermc, and Morgana levels to come out in such quick succession is unprecedented. Of all of the great levels out there today, though, there is one that is undeniably the best in all of LBP history. I was just going through the Highest Rated list of levels today and I found this instant classic. The level is Prizes World 2 by Xirinox, and although it gives you over 400 prizes, the fun you'll have playing this level is the biggest prize.

Like the name of the level indicates, Prizes World 2 is a prize level, the goal of which is to run through a huge pile of prize bubbles all the way to the scoreboard. Sure, it's not a particularly novel concept, prize levels have definitely been done before, but Prizes World 2 is done with such an incredible amount of polish that it doesn't even matter. All the way from the slow and unsettling beginning to jaw-dropping climax, Xirinox manages to keep the whole thing fun and exciting.

A pile of bombs, a hanging skull, and sound effects! BEST LEVEL EVAR!

Not only an you collect more specific objects like flower pots and old video game sprites, but you can also collect the bare essentials, such as checkpoints, materials, sounds effects, and scoreboards. This diversity isn't only what allows it to be a great prize level, but a fantastic level all around as well. What's that you say? Prize levels aren't real levels you say? They're just created by trophy whores to platinum the game you say? Well, Xirinox has come to prove you wrong. He certainly proved me wrong.

Checkpoints and paintballs are just a few of the prizes you can collect in this epic adventure

I haven't even started on the visuals. Xirinox's use of dramatic lighting at certain points of the level to emphasize the emotion of the characters is genius. We don't normally see this level of professionalism in LBP. This level is to LBP what Killzone 2 was to all of gaming, a graphical marvel. If the pictures alone don't entice you to play this game, then you should go see an optometrist. I'm afraid you might be blind.

A testament to the power of the human mind

To conclude this review of the best level in the galaxy, the visuals are astounding, gameplay is excellent, and the prizes are just the icing on the cake. A delicious cake made out of other delicious cakes. This level could very well change your perspective on life.

WAHT?
I thought it had only 376 useful prizes, so not the best level ever. I especially liked the checkpoint, though.

A checkpoint in a prize bubble. That is something I've never seen, and therefore, by definition, the very embodiment of originality.

6 stars!
