Technically, yes, but I'm pretty sure Stix means pre-LBP... You're at the start of what I call the LBP revolution in LBPC, when LBPC became more LBP oriented and every single member of the old community left, some in very dramatic ways (VERY dramatic ways...)

I think you should just do it. All those new members out there DESERVE to know the history of this forum. And yes, this includes our epic battles. But, do you have all the sources you'll be needing? Throw in some revolutionary posts, PM's and threads while you're at it, too.

I'm honestly sad I didn't join earlier. I hate seeing so many old members who I never got to know, discussions I was never involved in, spam cans I never got to spam in, etc...

There are so many discussions I never understood too, like old counter/lockbox logic debates and beta sign-ups (I didn't even know what the word beta meant as I was both a ps3/lbp/and general gaming noob /(I hate myself)).

EvilTikiGod made the site skin before this one, and was an admin for a few months after just cause.

Well, some members did, yes... I'm mostly referring to Marino and Clank when I say that though.

Marino was an ex mod, of the pirate variety, and I was very good friends with him. Through some... way indirectly related to me, he posted some link to some site I won't even tell you what was there... if you really wanna know what I know, I may give you an idea in pm... but yeah you don't wanna know. Anyway,he then asked to be banned, and I was sad that I was indirectly involved. that was December 08.

In Jan 09, Clank, aka the Spam Bot, who had almost 4000 posts (think how amazing that was, he was here for four months, and LBPC wasn't anywhere near as active back then, and only 3 or 4 people have more posts then him... yeah he spammed). So he was abusing rep (basically repping for repping), so CC reset his rep. He immediately begged in the Spam Can for rep, so he was banned for a few days... then, after some name calling, he was banned forever. that's also why we don't have have post count to the left of our profiles or Colored Usernames or, well, anything that makes people feel "elitist".

Yep. And also LittleBigMidget, who was banned November 08 after he ticked Code, an old mod, off one too many times, and sparked a huge debate. Ah, good times... <_<

As for Quozl... registered few days after me, was one of four dedicated mods (mods for specific forums) along with Code, Marino and Aer0blue. He stayed a mod for quite some time before he just resigned.

Elbee, he was a really great user back in Jan 09, and we wanted him to be mod, so he became one, and then he disappeared before he eventually quit.

Forsaken, one of the many mods from 08 when we had a bunch of mods, like Mark D Stroyer or DrunkMiffy. D:

I'm not an 08'er here on the site, but I've been playing since '08. I signed up about 2 1/2 weeks after New Years, then was inactive for a LOOONG time.

But, from what I remember, about 1/2 of the old guys dropped from LBPC when the first wave of people came through. I remember names like Don_Vhalt and Code_1337... and several others I've forgot.

Anywhoo, since it's apparently LBP history month, everyone sit on down and listen to my tale.

Got the game for Christmas 08, beat the story, tried creating and thought it was too hard, played a couple of bad community levels, and didn't touch the game for about six months.

I dusted it off over the summer and got really into it, joined littlebigworkshop in July, learned how to create, and started making a pretty decent first level.

I was about 90% done sometime in August when my ps3 died, and I lost all my work. This is around when I joined this forum, but I never really posted here. I got my ps3 back and started creating a new level, my first actual published one, I'm about to publish my 3rd probably this weekend. Sometime in December, after littlebigworkshop descended into the spamfest it is now, I started posting over here, originally intending to post at both sites, but now I'm an lbpcer through and through! 		2010-04-07 23:57:00

Unfortunately I kinda dropped out again over the past half year-year, cause I haven't had time to play LBP - let alone any ps3 - this past year.

I had LBP day one, but signed here waaaay too late, seriously. I was on my own for a very long time, then found LittleBigWorkshop... and somehow ended up here.
But I can't even call myself one who would have hyped LBP for a long time, I heard about it two weeks or so before the release... ok I had heard the name LittleBigPlanet but I never got around to look what the heck that is

I had LBP day one, but signed here waaaay too late, seriously. I was on my own for a very long time, then found LittleBigWorkshop... and somehow ended up here.
But I can't even call myself one who would have hyped LBP for a long time, I heard about it two weeks or so before the release... ok I had heard the name LittleBigPlanet but I never got around to look what the heck that is
That saved me from the waiting, in a way...

I heard about it a long before release, the trailers made me super hyped. I wasn't sure if i would be able to get it but then my dad just came home the day it released from work and told me to look in the wal mart bag, and it was there!
