What came first? The chicken or the Egg?

I cant get this out of my head, but anyway,

That question is very easy to answer. It's just a matter of logic and has to do with evolution.
As we all know every animal we know today is the result of evolution. That means a chicken wasn't always a chicken at all. With every new generation of the chickens predecessor the DNA changed a bit so after a long time of evolution it laid an egg which had exactly the same DNA as the chicken we know today. That is why the answer to your question is that the egg came first.		2010-04-03 19:02:00

The question I have for you all would be: Where do the white noises come from?
I case you don't know what that is, "white noise" descirbes a supernatural phenomenon that is about recording voices from empty rooms. No one can say for sure what they are or where they come from but maybe you have an idea.		2010-04-03 19:54:00

Have you ever been on a walk where there's been heather about? Or those tufts of grass near bogs or marshes?I swear, they're comfy as hell. I'd swap my bed for a field of them.

Ghosts, if they are real. They're just trying to say hi. Imagine if you were a ghost. If you'd been murdered or whatever, you'd have gotten over it in about 100 years. You'd just be very lonely.

They do. It's just in comic books and films they dont tell you what happens after it ends.

Ya, mainly because all the questions and answers aren't even serious ones. Although, this might be considered a serious question:

How can your mind make time slow down?

I i had come to the same conclusion at first too some time back,
BUT think about this, did the question EVER say it was supposed to be a "Chicken's" egg?

Well yes, I know that. But I mean how in the world is that possible!? Yes I know that the mind recieves more "frames" as you call it faster, making you understand the situation more. For two different reasons. The first reason is that you can't show any children without, well children. The other reason is that acting for children is no labor but playing. Besides that acting is more like a form of art than work.

It's not necessarily Adrenaline, but the brain supposedly has two thinking modes, rational and experimental. When we're in danger, our mind goes into experimental modes, where we don't think things out and act on instinct. Soooooo what, you're saying that we should ruin these kids lives and force them to work in front of millions of people because there's no other way to do it? Sacrifice them for the cause of our amusement? ruin their lives so that everyone else can laugh at their fake little jokes? Ruin their lives because we NEED some people to be fake kids for our little shows?

And come on, you don't actually believe that repeating the same scenes over and over somehow isn't work because it's "art" and playing? It's illegal for kids to work, except in our little sweatshops >_<.

Their lives are ruined by this. Many are born into it, FORCED into this. It's child slavery, and many people are made into this as babies, and their LIVES are ruined as we rip out their soul so we can enjoy watching their fake lives.

Mark Kate and Ashley Olsen. Selected to star in Full House when they were a few months old. Few years of fame. Life ruined. No choice. WE forced them into this because we need "Real" kids to "play" "fake" kids for our amusement.

Seriously, their lives are ruined by this, and it IS work, no matter how much you try and say it's playing and justified by us "needing" dispensable kids to play fake kids on TV. It ruins their lives worse then most jobs we ban them from doing because someone else can do it.

It's The Truman Show, and their are millions of Trumans all around, and no one cares, and everyone relishes in these kids losing their lives. Seriously. What the hell is wrong with us? WHY DOES NO ONE ELSE GIVE A ****?!		2010-04-03 23:11:00

Here's a question I think about sometimes. Now if perception of time is all in the mind then do different animals see time differently to each other. Take for example some species of butterflies that only live a few days, would they come out of their cacoon do what they want for few days and think, "Well that was crap" before they die or would their life feel like a very long time because they see time pass slower?2010-04-04 00:41:00

Simple, they're environment was a lot harsher back then, they needed better protection to be born. (That's a simple way to say it at least)

Ok, now for an actual question, how come when 1/2 asleep (sleeping position, cloed eyes) sometimes you stop hearing outer sounds (T.V./ Headphones/ Radio) or when it seems you've been like that for a long while, its only been like half a minute.
