| An option like that could be useful to eliminate the few awkward mistakes I've seen others make (I check out a member's introduction thread/posts before making assumptions myself, so I don't make that mistake ). I don't know if it'll help ladylyn1 any though.  Although I don't think it's much of a problem. | I think most of you guys are missing the point. I'm no expert on forums or anything, but I don't think adding a gender option would be very difficult. Chrree, you can always use the 'About Me' part of your profile page to give that information, although people have to actively look for it. Once people get to know you here it won't be such an issue. | Ok, update... there is now a gender option. You can find it in your Profile Settings, by clicking Settings at the top of the page. Then click Profile Settings from the menu on the left side.
