Decorations

Archive: 11 posts

I thought about this a while ago. Dose anyone think that it would be awesome if we had decorations that we could put in our levels? They would be like 3D stickers. 2010-04-02 20:16:00

It seems pointless, we already do have a couple objects that are decorations. look in your goodies and you'll find a bunch of 3d objects. They won't react with wind though.

BTW. I would much rather have a snapshot and sticker feature.

Actually I agree. I really liked the 3D objects on PS3 because they made the levels feel more "authentic" in a way, like the level was custom-made with models and all.
My dream list for a creator pack (if they make one) would be lighting, more decorations, materials, and some more useful stickers.

Why would they put Materials and Stickers in a Creator Pack? Creator Packs tend to only have tools like the Global Lighting or a Snapshot feature.2010-04-02 22:38:00

Is the MGS PS3 pack considered a creator's pack?
I mean, it comes with stickers and stuff, but it has a new tool added. The paintanator.

I thought a Creator Pack was like the one that introduced infinite-life checkpoints, global lighting, and angled radius on switches, etc.2010-04-03 00:14:00

I think things like MGS, Monsters, and Pirates of the Caribbean are considered "level packs" because they contain materials, objects, and stickers that you can make levels out of.

The "creator pack" is a different thing for a couple of reasons. First, there are no materials or stickers - only create mode tools like infinite checkpoints and global lighting switch as Silver39 mentioned. You couldn't make a level out of that stuff, thus "creator" in the name. There's also no cohesive theme for the "creator pack".

Every DLC we've seen for the PSP so far has been either a "costume pack" (or just "costume") or a "level pack". I would expect eventually we will be getting a "sticker pack" or two (like the Jon Burgerman one for the PS3) and perhaps even a "music pack".

Your right guys, sorry about the mix-up. I'm still much more interested in new tools however. I'd still like some music though, the PSP music seemed less "creator-oriented."2010-04-03 18:04:00

Just overpriced sticker packs Dand the creator edition stuff)

well if they did have a creators pack, and it had materials, stickers, objects, more stuff rather than that old "plain" jetpack. i think the pack would be called a material and object pack rather than a creator pack 2010-04-05 17:38:00
