The pirates of the Caribbean level kit, mod please lock. | 2010-04-02 12:00:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
mod please lock. I hate it when people say something like that. Mods will lock it eventually anyway. It's their "job" afterall. There is no need for wannabe mods. (Don't take it personally, robotiod.) | 2010-04-02 12:12:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Thats fine syroc, mods please destroy him. No wait they will do it themselves eventually | 2010-04-02 12:31:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
Don't lock it yet lol! I have one more question. I bought the pirates pack but where can I find the content I downloaded? | 2010-04-02 12:31:00 Author: jergi20 Posts: 46 |
on the store section of the community planet. | 2010-04-02 12:33:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
Sorry if I'm asking too much, but I went to both tutorials, got some water switches and scubadiving suit but I can't seem to find the water? | 2010-04-02 12:54:00 Author: jergi20 Posts: 46 |
water is in the global control settings in the tools bag. | 2010-04-02 12:56:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
That's odd, in my global controls, there's no water. Just lighting, darkness, foginess, fog colour and colour correction. Even though, I can use everything else from the pack? | 2010-04-02 12:59:00 Author: jergi20 Posts: 46 |
Have you done all tutorials in the pack. also i'm not sure whether this matters but have you done the intro level in the pirates of the Caribbean levels. | 2010-04-02 13:02:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
^^ No, I haven't. I'm gonna try. | 2010-04-02 13:03:00 Author: jergi20 Posts: 46 |

Moved to Help! Glad you got it sorted out. | 2010-04-02 13:34:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
Ohh and one last question about water, how do you make underwater enemies like shark follow you? I put the brain on, selected follow players, but it does not move even when I'm next to it? Thx for any help. | 2010-04-02 14:02:00 Author: jergi20 Posts: 46 |
You need to do extensive logic with pistons and things like that. there isn't a way to make the creature brain move stuff underwater unfortunately. | 2010-04-02 14:04:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
Not very true, robotoid. Most of the examples on community levels use sack-seeking internal rockets. I don't know how to explain it very well but a good way would be to make 4 rockets facing north, west, south, and east, each with a 90-degree proximity switch connected to its opposite rocket. Creatures are very different. They can only move on flat or nearly flat surfaces, and they have to have creature wheels. | 2010-04-03 01:06:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |

A new idea for creator pack 2: Creature Jets: allow creature to glide in the sky and can burn the sack (mabey) | 2010-04-03 01:53:00 Author: Emogotsaone Posts: 1030 |
The (poorly) made sharks are made with a simple sackboy tracker. In the shark, think of it as a refined method of setting up 3 or more sack sensing switches, then set the proximity to a very large radius, then they change the radius of the switches so they don't interfere with eachother, then attach them to a 45,90,125 degrees-ish rockets, at least that is what I would Infer, as I have never tried before. | 2010-04-04 21:47:00 Author: sackish Posts: 72 |
