Hello to all of you Happy Gadders, I would like for all of you to tell me what you think of this concept that I have been mulling around in my head... It involves you, and a handful of other brave Sacks, with a special mission. Your mission is to travel into the depths of space to an unknown planet. Shortly after setting foot on the abnormal planet, you stumble upon an alien egg. You then take the egg aboard ship, only to have it hatch soon after. Now your true mission is to survive with the killer alien on board and find a way to return to LittleBigPlanet alive... Now I would like you, the LittleBigPlanet community, to give me your opinions and your suggestions as to the level's story, gameplay, and possible name, if you will. If any of you find this project interesting and wish to help, I would suggest that you send me, RJA00000, a friend request so that you may help create. Well its a good idea. I have recently been thinking about something like that to. I looked over all of the default levels and all their themes and the only one i didnt find is a space theme. And about your idea, i can already see myself puting a magnetic key on an egg and makeing light effects for the space ship. I honestly think its a good idea I would love to find another good space level, and this is a great theme i think you should go for it.

Name idea: The Egg With the egg idea you could have the egg start messing with the ship more and more as it gets closer to hatching and then you would get this random catastrophic thing when the egg actually hatches.

Alien egg picked up on planet, alien runs around on ship picking off survivors... Now where have I heard that before...? lol Nah, but seriously it sounds like a great idea. I am between ideas myself so if you would like a little help..? Don't feel you have to but send me a message if you feel like employing a young creator. I'm a bit depressed now as my "The Origin of the Halibut" level has disappeared somehow, and TBH it was starting to turn VERY glitchy anyway - and I SERIOUSLY can't be bothered starting over. So can make characters or whatever as I feel that I just can't make a whole new level again? My debut will have to wait.. *holds back tears*

I am between ideas myself so if you would like a little help..? Don't feel you have to but send me a message if you feel like employing a young creator. I'm a bit depressed now as my "The Origin of the Halibut" level has disappeared somehow, and TBH it was starting to turn VERY glitchy anyway - and I SERIOUSLY can't be bothered starting over. So can make characters or whatever as I feel that I just can't make a whole new level again? Direct rip off from the alien movie lol :-) however, you can still be very original if you put a twist to the standard story line. Something the player did not see coming would be great here. A good example to a twist would be: one of the crewmembers is it's mother , disguised in the corpse of a dead crewmember. Then, at the end of the level, the mother alien would reveal itself as you fight it! Now that would be original :-)

^^ With this, you could have a comedic part where your character is in the room when the egg hatches, the alien baby looks at you and says... "Mama?". Your sackperson said "Uh... no?". Then the alien baby roars and chases you down a hallway (or somethin of that sort). I thought about that funny bit before I got to Nightwing's post, then I saw it and though how it could work into the story.

Oh, that's too bad...I hate to hear about all of the terrible things that happen to people as creators, it makes me scared to think what might happen to me. Anyway, I will probably send you a message as I want all of the help I can possibly get! OK, errr could you see the messages I was sending you? Have you started the level yet? I know this is a bit hasty but I've already started making characters out of boredom...etc. So far I've made two, but if you've started making other characters anyway I suppose I'll just use them for something else (though I am quite pleased with them)
