What should I get for my PS3
Archive: 12 posts
Well, I'd like to announce that there is 4 watchers on my auction, there is a really slim chance that no one will buy it, so with that being saying. I need to know what I should get for my PS3 ( not games ) Ok so, I have a 1080i Tv, and for my Xbox 360 I use this HDMI Cable thing, but it has AV Cable things attached to it, this is how it looks, http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1132/1443648361_373b5954f5.jpg Is there anything like that for the PS3? My TV is mounted and I can't have wires going up to the back of the TV. As for that, do I need any cables for playing Online? I heard it has a built-in WIFI, but do I need a wireless router in my house? Or does it support itself? | 2008-10-02 06:37:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino ![]() Posts: 5250 |
congrats on the ps3 ![]() for an HD tv you will need a special cable that doesnt come in the box. I'm not sure what it is called but you will need it (i didnt get it cos i dont hav an hd tv). For the wifi, do you use wireless internet on your computer? | 2008-10-02 06:56:00 Author: muttjones ![]() Posts: 843 |
Yea I do use Wireless internet for my computer, Theres actually two computers, Mine which is wireless, and my brothers which is near the router so it's wired. | 2008-10-02 07:35:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino ![]() Posts: 5250 |
Wireless online is really fail.. unless your playing something not to active. FPS games wireless is really bad so in case you're wondering on what games don't even bother FPS online wit wireless. I have this HDMI thing also, it doesn't look like yours. It's best to just plug in the long blue ethernet cable from your brother's modem to your PS3.. you'll get the best out of online wit that. I'm pretty sure it does NOT support it self, and you would need a router just like the PSP and what not.. so I just suggest highly suggest cables, and if that's really to much of a hassle.. than do the best you can with wireless options. | 2008-10-02 07:48:00 Author: BobMarley ![]() Posts: 260 |

You need an HDMI. If you have a cable boc for digital cable (in HD) then there will already be one in there, just in the back. "HDMI" should be right abot the plugs outlet on the box. As long as you have Wifi and your PS3 isn't TOO far away, then you'll be fine. But I do recommend an ethernet cable. | 2008-10-02 12:17:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
