Lmao, this is about the 3D layer thingy. Anyway, I know how to place an object in the background, but it always appears to be too far away from where I want it to be. How do I move it closer to the front??

Press R2 until it retracts all the way back to a thin layer. Then step it forward by pressing R1, R2, R1, R2.. repeat until it is as forward as you want then make it as many layers thick as you want with R1. Hopefully this is clear enough.
