Because of the Recent DLC Patterns

What should be the next Disney/Pixar movie made into LBP DLC?

I say a Toy Story DLC would probably be great.

Maybe, but it would probably be something with a little more action. Like, National Treasure. I don't know though, its possible.2010-03-31 02:51:00

I think a 'Disney Villains Pack' would be awesome!!

Costumes of Jafar, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and Ursula would be schweet. Plus some new music opportunities; "Friends on the Other Side", "Night on Bald Mountain", and others.

Hmm, well technically it's the second Disney Pack. Isn't Pirates of the Caribbean Disney? Well considering Mickey Mouse is Disney and their logo, I propose a Mickey Mouse pack... (Hmm, I smell a lot of rubbishy Disney Packs comming up...)2010-03-31 08:07:00

WALL-E!

Little off topic but that film sucked, I didn't watch all of it because I got bored and switched it off.

Back on topic, how bout a general Disney pack? With stickers from all kinds of Disney film's?

How can you say that?
That is pretty much my favourite movie of all time.
Well, I guess everyone has their own opinion.

Aaaand, a WALL-E background could be cool. Stars in the sky when you go up, and scrapheaps on the ground.

patterns? theres only been the one disney dlc, i say they make more game packs for the more epic movies or ps3 games. pirates was only made because its a darker sort of film that could be adapted well to fit lbp. wall-e and toy story are childrens films, pirates is a film for all ages. they could make a level for, say, prince of persia, which is a film coming soon produced by disney. infact, i would love above all to see PoP DLC!2010-03-31 17:02:00

Wow. I'm gonna have to start a flame war because of that.

I don't want any more Disney packs - only Pixar!
And WALL-E was heartfelt, you doopz!

Wall-E was alright at first, but after my school repeatatly showing it to me it's a bit sucky. We're doing it in music at the moment, we have a bit of it and we have to make our own music for it.

As for a Disney pack, I too think they should do more of an effort than just costumes. The Incredibles background looks brilliant!

Okay, ive been looking at the current line up of dlc we know by looking at the pattern MM follows
incredibles is in a few days, then something small around june, then we (might) be seeing a level pack for july. But because of sony's "marriage" With Media Molecule, that open up possibilities for dlc focussing on major games from this year... then we have the PSmove, which could open either new story, or a magic themed pack some time in december. like we have every year....

But! it's more likely something very big will be announced soon... maybe drawing our direction to a new feature to lbp...
But this is all my ideas.... i have alot of free time to think because of my current health issue.

Wall-E and Toy Story are not exclusively children's films. They're for all ages too!

Although its unlikely, because its even older than the Incredibles, I think a Bug's Life pack would work well!

Is it just me or is the Incredibles pack a complete mistake? I mean, that film was a flop, was made a long time ago, and this DLC isn't really one we'd all expect. I don't think they should make any more Disney DLC's for the sole purpose of the DLC's welfare being spammed with junk. Anybody else agree?2010-04-04 11:41:00

Incredibles? It is still one of my favourite movies ever! Great music, comedy, action... leather suits. It's nice to have an opinion, but please, you're just talking crap!

I think lpb and wall-e could work well together, both random and family film/game, capturing the minds of adults to toddlers, both have 'supposedly' cute characters but you didn't like wall-e??? ='(

I reckon it should be a film that would be able to implicate a major new feature to LBP. Like my idea of parkour shoes (any Disney film containing parkour? No? Oh well...).
Anywho, what Disney film could make a completely different gameplay item be used?

Y'know, I don't see why Media Molecule wouldn't come out with these packs, after all, we all wanted some Sonic DLC, and here it is, I think since Mm and Sony got married, LittleBigPlanet now has a lot more options for DLC. Especially some of the best PlayStation Franchises.2010-04-05 22:15:00

I vote for wall-e and pooh dlc!

If only cause wall-e would be an awesome costume to have, and Who wouldn't want thier sackperson to run around with a big pot o' hunny (I spelled that right so don't bother) in one hand?

"Time for a little smackerel of something!"

maybe george lucas level kits could be good. think about indiana jones! That would work on so many levels!
Star wars has apperently been announced. By the way heres the pattern for DLC:

a level kit in spring/early summer.
one in late summer.
and one at christmas
I missed incredibles cos I on holiday. I WANT TO GO HOME AND PLAY INCREDIBLES AND WATCH DOCTOR WHO!!

I think a wall-e background would be interesting but that's as far as it goes! I doubt they would introduce a pack with loads of backdrops but I'm suggesting just that. A pack with backdrops from a few movies would add more variety to levels and just be all around great additions. I've never cared for costumes so give me more create stuff please! I think the 2d films could tie in well for additional environmental stickers. I haven't seen a Disney movie in a while so I'm not sure what would suit LBP out of what they've released of late.2010-04-09 19:07:00

I think a Star Wars pack alongside a Toy Story pack are inevitable. The Star Wars one will probably tie in with the PS Move (force and whatnot). Any other packs will inevitably be based on PS3 exclusive games that have been popular because the Sony partnership warrants self promotion.2010-04-09 20:00:00

Disney's Villain pack would be pretty awesome, as someone already said. Jafar, Frollo, Dr. Facilier, Ursula, Maleficent, Gaston, Hades and such

...but screw all those if they promise a "Fear and Loathing"- pack

I find the Incredibles-Pack as one of the better DLC's that has come! I think the movie of the Incredibles, which I think is quite nice, I think is the only Disney Movie where people openly die (I realized that last year, when it went on Disney Channel in the summer I think, and I sat down to see it).

I would like Wall-E level kit, with lots of stickers, objects, and maybe a costume pack from Toy Story, that would be cool...

All this talk of DLC and the PSMove and no one has even mentioned Harry Potter *glares at everyone*

No, I'm Sirius (see what I did there? xD), an HP pack could have loads of different materials. Fun levels too (most likely based around the plot of the whole series). Stickers, decorations and the all important: PSMove functionality. Make it happen MM!

@Plasmavore:
Yeah, that would be awesome!!! Though, I think they might wait until the last movie is out (just guessing), but this would be nice. Now I came think about NuclearFish' Harry Potter level, the Philosophers sponge.
They could also make levels, coming with the PSMove, the Move function comes with the Harry Potter pack, a little like using that levitation spell... what was the name...

That curly hill would be so much fun. And the rag doll clothes, I know Jack Skellington can already be made but still. All those beautifully eerie backgrounds would be so cool.
Just throwing it out there, don't start hatin'

And Wall-E would be so neat too. LOVED THAT MOVIE!

(drools over idea of Harry Potter DLC)
Must... play... as... Harry... sackperson...
Harry Potter DLC would not only be good with the Move, but it can also have wand powerup (with stupefy, basically paintinator- but a wand!) and a full Quidditch powerup set!
But back to Disney matters-
KINGDOM HEARTS!!!

I'm sorry to potentially poke the flame war fuel valve, but.. I didn't like WALL-E. It seemed kinda greenie and had a flimsy storyline. It revolved around the "uncaring, 'evil' humans ruin the earth" idea a bit too much for me.. Kinda let me down for a Pixar film.
None of the mentioned movies would have enough GAMEPLAY changing value to make it worth it. For example, the MGS pack is so popular because of the new GAMEPLAY: missiles, plasma balls, and the best of all, the Paintenator. (Durr potential spelling fail.) It added to the much-needed "action" area of LBP. A Toy Story pack, for example, would probably just have a few new materials and objects. I can't find anything that would add to the gameplay from that pack.

Ratatouille and Toy Story packs FTW! For the Ratatouille pack it could have a Paris or kitchen/restaraunt background and a bunch of awesome music! For the Toy Story pack you could have costumes, a kid's room background, and cool music. Those would be the best in my opinion. 2010-06-28 17:53:00

2 words....MORTAL KOMBAT!!!
now that would be my favourite pack by Far
Level kits,Levels, Costumes, Backgrounds, Stickers
perfect with a joint release with Mortal Kombat 9
they could add a new feature......Gore

Also some ps3 exclusive game packs like Uncharted + Final fantasy would be Very Good

Aliens Vs Predator LBP DLC would be cool, Level kits, Levels, Costumes, Stickers, Backgrounds
i would love for my sack boy to have Animated Predator Blade Gauntlets, a bit like the Assassins creed costumes Hidden Blade

I was disappointed with the incredibles dlc. It brought ok objects, but the music was terrible. For a movie with terrific music, they really represented it as badly as they could in LBP.

Back on topic, I think Atlantis or Mulan dlc would be particularly interesting. I love both of those movies.
