Taking a break from my series to make a tribute to: 'Jellybean Cavern: One flipping plunge of a race". I felt that this level had a good idea, but the visuals and gameplay weren't up to par, particularly in comparison to the level of today, as it is quite old. I have a few ideas of how to make a level a lot better than jellybean caverns, but what I'm concerned about is that if people think I'm stealing the idea, as it's been rarely done. I'l put pictures up when more progress is made but in the meantime, i want to hear you give me your opinion? Do you think this is a good idea? I plan to make it very different visually and gameplay-wise, but maybe keep it themed in a way as it's easy to see it's a tribute.

Give the original creator credit for the idea, and if your making a remake say its a remake of original creator's level, and there shouldn't be as much flaming.

It'll b far from a remake. The great idea was performed terribly with the standards of nowadays... Anyway, I think I'm gonna call it: Jelly Mines Sounds super cool page friendly a name doesn't it?

Guess nobody's interested but I've made about 20 %. I've thrown in a few comedic bubbles and such. Prepare for a beta test as soon as I get to the flipside...

Will there be blobs of jelly sticking out of the mine walls as if they were ore or metal mined in a conventional sense? An idea for an NPC could be a miner who mines jelly by sucking it out of the walls using a vacuum cleaner-like device!

Haha nice ideas. I'm still working on the visual style but I veins of jelly splatted about the place, and some slippery jelly covered platforms. Also have a sort of pumping centre in the middle where it gets a bit more industrial looking.
