Return To Tinsel TownThisIsInsane
Sackboy (dubbed Issack in this level) returns to Tinsel Town to act in another movie for The Director. Only this time, it's an Indianna Jones style movie, and it takes place inside of a volcano. Everything goes well until the volcano erupts. Can you get out before you're burned to a crisp?
This is my first level in a long time, and actually my first post ever on LBPCentral. I was originally having trouble with this level, because things kept breaking, which in turn would break something else. But I've finally managed to get it finished. This level is actually my entry into the What Did Sackboy Do contest over at LittleBigWorkshop.com. Hope you enjoy!

I actually have an big update coming to this level within the week, where I'll make it much more intense at the end, and maybe even a little longer. But until then, hope you enjoy this level!

Hidy Ho ThisIsInsane! It's nice to see that you followed Domik's advice and headed over here! I promise that you will not regret it because this is by far the very best LBP PSP community out there.

As for this level, I have already left you feedback, but for those of you out there who are reading this, I would advise you to give the level a try because it is a lot of fun :-)

Hahah, yeah.
I'm over here.
Anyways, your feedback.

As I was playing, I thought I felt like I wasn't in the setting of Tinsel Town.
Maybe because The Director got sued? ehh?
Anyways, I had a decent playthrough.
I didn't have much trouble.

I'm not sure what to write about the level, but I enjoyed it a bit.
Overall, I gave you 5 stars.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this site!

Thanks for playing it! Yeah, I know it didn't feel quite like Tinsel Town (I'm guessing because you're inside a volcano instead of the normal, er, alien nest?) , but I still wanted to try it and see how it would end up, being a different style then Tinsel Town. And the Director getting sued was kinda a last minute idea. Other then that, I'm actually not sure why I put that in there Thanks for taking the time to play my level, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

And also, so far, I have indeed loved this site! Sort of hard to get used to, though, compared to the Workshop.

Hey Thisisinsane! I have seen your name in the high scores of some of my levels I'm sure, so thanks for playing them.

I really like this level, it was very pretty at the begining and the music from the gardens was a nice touch, very relaxing piece. Then the real meat of the level with a change in the art style, and I am still digging it. I like your take on the director, the lines were funny. The platforming segment in the middle was very well done and challenging, the first playthrough I died a few times trying to get over the fire, haha. And the escape from the rising lava race was fun only thing there was no lava, but it was still fun. I played this twice to try and beat Poo's high score to no avail, but I like levels like these so I will play it again.

Five stars and a heart pus I hearted you as creator because I like your other levels too.

Keep up the great work!!

Yeah, I'm currently working on adding lava, but it's tough. And I'm really glad you liked the art, I spent a lot of time on it. And yeah, I have played your levels, they are awesome! And Poo did get a really high score. He's good, even I can't beat him on my own level! Also, SockFace, I have not tried your levels, but if you want me to, I can check them out.2010-03-29 23:10:00

Hey ThisIsInsane
I played your level and I must say I liked the detail in the majority of your objects, I can see that you took some time editing the corners, and that gives you a unique touch to your level, perhaps for my taste a little more than decoration with stickers on the inside, but this as a point more staff, also I didn't have the sensation of being in tinsel town, perhaps would have been better if you'd put as input a forum or something like this, the level is a little short but fun, the plataforming were fun, the first was an original obstacle and I liked, incidentally very original your feedback! in this case I did the same thing:
Gameplay: 4/5
Visuals: 4/5
Music: 4/5
Difficulty: 4/5
Total Score: 4/4

A lot of people have been saying that they didn't get the feel of Tinsel Town, but a couple people have said they did get the feeling. I guess it depends on the person But thanks for playing it and taking the time to leave feedback! I'm currently working on an update, should be up soon2010-03-31 14:34:00

Yeah, you had a great score! It took me around 15 tries to beat it! Did you keep playing it until you got the high score, or did you just happen to get 1st place on the first try?2010-03-31 19:04:00

I actually think that I might have gotten it on the first try, but then again, I may have gone through for a second or 3rd run :-) I remember playing the level and thinking that I was doing very very well for as few times as I had played it 2010-04-01 01:59:00
